Please be advised that Blue Angel Weimaraner Rescue, Inc, does not do any adoptions during the holidays. The stress and chaos that comes with the holidays makes it too stressful for the dog to be able to adjust.

*******Update!******* He has a new home!

We have been notified about a 5 yr old black UTD in tack Frenchie. He will be neutered so he cannot be bred. HE DOES NOT HAVE PAPERS! This so local apartment complex is stating has to go. This is a family pet, good with kiddos and unknown about cats or other dogs. The owner sold the complex and the new owner says no pets.. Can't argue with them as they told the tenant dog has to be gone by close of today. I know this is short notice, but we would like to keep him from going to the shelter. The little fella is in the Burleson area. I will get photos soon, but we all know that Frenchies are small dogs. Please contact me if you can help out.

Look, we love a good social media trend. We boogied for the dance challenges. We lip-synced with the best of them. However, we have a recent trend that is sus at best. Turns out some genius has made videos showing teens how to steal cars. But we have bad news for everyone. This trend may get you more followers, but it will also get you a felony. Unfortunately, we are serious—we have arrested four juveniles in the last month for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle related to this trend. And what is super cool is that a felony conviction will likely stay on your record. Barring some type of court intervention, this doesn't just disappear after you become an adult.

So parents, do us a solid and talk with your kids about this. Please let them know how serious this is, and that it could ruin multiple things in their future, like college and jobs. Unless you want your kid to have a record and live with you forever. If not, tell them to keep making those videos where they pop out and scare their friend, not the ones that lead to their arrest.

> This beautiful 6 mos old blue girl was found as a stray. She has been safe with the finder/foster but now needs a new foster to adopt. She is current on all her shots, HW negative and will be spayed at the appropriate time and gets along great with other people and dogs She is a typical weim with energy so small children would not be good as she could knock them down. Location is Central Texas and an application is needed for consideration.

We here are all very thankful to our fosters and adopters who have made the lives of so many weims very happy to have found their forever homes. We are grateful and thankful to you all that have made this happen. The weims thank you as well. Without our supports, our fosters and adotpers we wouldn't be where we are, saving these beautiful creatures which is a gift from Heaven. Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Remember Simon, the fella abandonded on the streets of Houston? He kept escaping from his foster home to go and play with other dogs. Look at him now. He is loving his new home, family and weims buddies.

Everyone, we need a new foster for Simon ASAP. He needs a minimum of a 6 foot fence as he can jump a 4 foot. He wants out to play with other dogs, so a home with a friend for him to play with would be ideal. He is totally vetted, shots, neuter and micro chipped. He is approx 18 mos old, very loving and wants to cuddle when he gets his "energy" out. Please if you can help us get him into a new foster soon, PLEASE let us know. He is in the Houston area currently.

We have a situation where a family is in need to rehome their weim. He is a blue fella, fully vetted. He is 2 yrs old and 4 mos. Loves kids, and other weims as he is living with one. The mom is very ill and in the hospital most of the time which I won't go into it. She is a prior adopter and has adopted this fella too. If you are in Texas and interested, please let us know. He needs an active family as he is full of energy. No cats please. Pm me for photos and an application if you would be interested. He is a beautiful blue fella.

This beautiful 6 yr old male, UTD on shots, HW prevention, and neutered needs a new home as his "daddy" is terminally ill and the family travels to much to keep him. This is sad for them all. Please contact us if you can foster this sweet loveable, crate trained boy. He loves other dogs, children and people. I would not guess but I suspect no cats.

He was found as a stray and is currently in a wonderful foster home. He UTD on all his shots, HW negative and will be neutered in the coming week which we will be taking applications for him. Foster reports he is a loving playful fella that gets along great with other dogs and wants to play as he is living with another weim. When not playing he is a cuddle bug. He is geting better on his leash manners and only pulls when he sees another dog he wants to play with. A 6' fence is required. We do not know about cats or livestock, so I would say no to that.
