Good afternoon, Paw In Hand family. It's with a heavy heart that I must announce that Paw in Hand Mobile Grooming will be moving to Washington State on April 1st.

While Paw in Hand is only 5 years old, I've been a SWLA resident all my life and I've been a groomer here for over a decade. You have been like a second family and your pups like my own. I can't tell you how many tears I shed when I think of leaving you all.

It was an extremely tough decision, but a necessary one as it's becoming more and more difficult to find my family life saving gender-affirming care in the South.

Thank you so much for 5 incredible years. I'll never find clients as wonderful as all of you.

We know the fleas have been bad this season, but Dawn is never the answer! 🚫🚫🚫🚫 Please consult you vet on flea prevention. If you need to get fleas off in a hurry, any quality dog safe shampoo left on for 10 minutes will stun fleas and allow you to knock a majority off with the rinse.

The only way to safely and completely remove fleas is with a veterinarian approved topical or oral flea preventative.

PS: Hart's shampoo is just as bad as Dawn.

Priority will be given to households with multiple pups this time, as it's always tougher for them to get on our schedule.

NOTE: I'm not accepting any groom dogs (dogs with long coats) over 30lb at the moment due to a repetitive motion injury. Sorry about that!

Hey Paw in Hand Family! Now that we've all survived the holidays we want to announce a couple of changes for our pricing and policies.

Starting in February we will only be offering our Basic Bath service for short-coated pets (Pit Bulls, Boxers, Chihuahuas, Rat Terriers etc). Pets with medium or long coats require a higher level of care and technique, thus more time and product. ***NOTE: A long coated dog with a short haircut is still a long coated dog.

We also are sad to announce that we are scaling back our Two Week VIP discount. We are just not in a position to offer big discounts in this current climate of rapidly increasing prices for everything from our generator maintenance to our cleaning supplies. The discount will now only apply to Full Groom services and is still a 20% discount. ***NOTE: This discount applies to a pet that we see every 2 weeks.

We know it's a bit of a bummer, but we are trying hard to stay afloat during this crazy inflation without having to drastically increase prices across the board.
