The Animal Emergency Endowment is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded by Houstonian Dody Resnick in 1995. Dody felt there was a real need for kind-hearted persons who wanted to help rescue and find veterinary care for homeless animals but could not afford to fund the medical bills. In partnership with our donors, we have been very successful in our mission, literally treating hundreds of an
imals in emergency care, spay and neuter and assisting rescue efforts by funding needed veterinary care. Our mission has expanded to include assistance to Texas A&M's College of Veterinary Medicine - sponsoring vet students in the Houston SPCA shelter medicine rotation as well as the Emergency Rescue teams which assist in natural disaster relief for animals. We believe helping to train compassionate vets is at the core of helping animals in the future. As well, we help rescue groups expand their dollars by funding medical care as well as finding forever homes for these animals. We believe our efforts have helped the animal communities at large and hope you will help our mission continue with financial support.
