Rocky mountain Cocker rescue is in desperate need of Foster for two sweet bonded cockers

These pups are the best! They are totally bonded...and truly do need to be fostered together.

Their mom got a job transfer and can't take the pups with her. It's breaking her heart... and she would love for them to go to a wonderful home.

Rusty and Charlie are both good with other dogs and kids. They haven't been around cats. Both potty trained.

Rusty is bonded with Charlie since he was born August 2022. He's shy around new people, a bit anxious when left alone, but does great as long as Charlie is around. He loves to play fetch and is so sweet. He is a cuddle bug and loves affection. Good with his basic commands - "sit, stay, come" and walking on a leash. He loves to go camping and hiking. Sleeps under the covers in the winter. He's 3 years old and weighs 35 pounds.

Charlie is a sweet, easy going boy. Friendly, loves to play hide and seek. Loves to go camping and ride 4-wheelers. 😄 Suns on the deck during the day or sleeps on the couch or bed. He gets anxious if kenneled or left alone. Does best if he's with Rusty. Loves to eat and could lose a few pounds. Enjoys daily walks. House trained with dog door...and needs a fenced yard. Great with his basic commands too... 'sit, stay, roll over' and does great on a leash. Charlie is 6 years old and is a little chunky monkey at 42 pounds.

Winston U 24084_ Tri color Cocker_ Male: Winston is a young active puppy, born 10/2/23, who loves the outdoors and lots of attention. He is also called Winnie. He is full of energy. He loves to cuddle in bed and play fetch. Winnie is potty trained and is okay in the house by himself but he does p*e sometimes when he is excited or scared. He loves car rides and walks. Winston's foster says that he seems like a happy, healthy, well-balanced puppy. He just needs to learn to take “no” for an answer when other dogs tell him that they’re tired of playing. He has a blue eye and a brown eye.

Bella U 24055_Black Cocker_Female: Bella was found as a stray. She had been pretty neglected but is now cleaned up and doing well in her foster home. Bella, Is a very soft, gentle, and sweet pup. She is very quiet and a bit slow. She seems to be blind or have low vision, and perhaps hard of hearing or deaf. But she isn't afraid, she takes her time and finds her way using her nose. She does bump into things as she finds her way. She doesn't mind other dogs or people. With large dogs she was nervous for a minute shaking, once she realized they just wanted to be by her she calmed. Bella is learning the doggy door. She isn't against it but isn't used to it. She hasn't had any accidents inside. Sometimes she jumps a little at first touch. With some guidance she is fine going into a crate. She is content to sleep most of the time. I love that she still wants to explore. She eats slowly but just fine. Bella will need a fenced yard. Might your home be the perfect retirement home for Bella?

I was just contacted by Rocky Mountain cocker rescue in Denver, with who I am a big part of helping rescue dogs out of Utah. We currently have six available Cockers in Utah, stay tuned for pictures and adoption information.
