With Thanksgiving only a day away, it is important to make sure your pups are happy and healthy this holiday season.

The weekend following Thanksgiving is one of the busiest times of the year for pancreatitis and toxin related emergency vet visits. A high-fat diet, is a major cause of pancreatitis, especially for a dog who gets one large helping of fatty food in one sitting. Be sure you are in the know of safe foods for your pup!

We strive to maximize the quality of life of pets through preventative medicine, early disease detection, and therapeutic intervention.

Dr. Nicole Kuhlmann is a native of Huntsville. Her undergraduate studies were completed at UAH while working full-time as a veterinary assistant at Madison Veterinary Hospital. In 2007, Dr. Kuhlmann received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University.
