Animated, adaptable and agile, the Australian Shepherd lives for his job, which still involves herding livestock and working as an all-purpose farm and ranch dog. He needs a lot of activity and a sense of purpose to be truly content. Today,

due to the breed's intelligence and versatility, "Aussies" also excel in AKC events such as agility, obedience and herding. Their coats can be black, blue merle, red merle and red with or without white markings."
*quoted from: American Kennel Club. Our Aussie is fun loving and playful with her own quirky personality! . We are an active family and aside from work and school she goes where we go. Her "mane" is gorgeous when fully grown however to make her more comfortable in the summer, as well as before whelping her litter, we do give her a hair cut. Agnus is a part of our family, she loves the water, running, horses, and cuddling. She does have the Aussie characteristics and ability and "herds" my children when needed with a simple command. Australian Shepherds make a wonderful addition to the family!

Our Aussie line has now been retired. But our love for the Shepherds is still strong ❤️ so we are now raising a wonderful line of German Shepherds. I’d like to introduce Nala and Bruno our AKC love birds. Both come from a strong line, I’ll be posting their lineage on here and I’m available to answer any questions. We will be having our first litter this December and we can’t wait! If you are interested or have any questions please let me know. I’ll be updating the page to the German side. Same love and devotion for them as we had for our Aussies. Our Prim (Aussie) is still with us and she is excited to be a Auntie 🙂
