Our PetSmart/adoption coordinator's autistic child made this video just for us to post. This is Janie. She is 2 years old and very loving, as you can see. Please let us know how you like this video.
We love it when our animals have sponsors! Jax's sponsor took him out today for corn dogs (which we now know he doesn't like), new toys, and to PetSmart to meet people & exercise.
If you are interested in sponsoring any of our animals, contact us!
If your bored at adoption events just play!
Meet Clancy. He's a little bundle of love. He likes to play but loves to sleep. He had severe eye infections when we found him. His eyes will always be a little cloudy. But he can still say "I love you" with those eyes. Clancy will be ready for adoption soon. Please donate to help him and all the other kittens get ready for adoption.
One of our Kitten expert Foster had to have ankle surgery and then went to rehab for physical therapy. She hasn't had a little kitten since May 27th. She was having withdrawals bad!!! So two went to play with her.
Update: They are all safely settled in at North Shore ready to find their Furever homes.
Update: They have safely arrived in New York.
Alan, Sharon, and Laura were born in our care. Shadie was brought to us as a newborn. Ceasar was brought to us at 8 weeks. That was last Spring. Diva and Purr came to us at 5 weeks last fall. Couldn't find homes for them, so they are heading to North Shore Animal League in New York. Wish them safe travels and a happy life.
Triple the cuddles and triple the fun! These babies' mother sacrificed herself to protect her newborns from a dog. They have been bottle fed since before they were 1 week old, so they are really attached to humans. Date of birth is Sept 1st. They love to play with the other foster cats. They have learned that not all dogs are bad. Kids of course! Especially to play and cuddle for a nap. To adopt one or all if you want a house of full of fun and love, contact us.
It's PetSmart day!!! But the cats aren't thrilled! They want to stay home in bed with foster dad! Come to PetSmart and meet your new bed buddy. We'll be there with the kitties from 10-2. And our friends, Cause-N-Dogs and Kitty Cottage, will be there too. Come join the fun!
A VERY HAPPY REUNION! Thank you everyone for all the shares on the 2 hurricane Florence dogs, Max & Sheeba. Their owner, Roshanda and family, are thrilled to have their babies back and so are we! We want to also thank the Wayne County Animal Services for allowing us to help find the owners. We hope to continue working with them in a positive relationship.
Alan is a sweet soul whose adoption did not work out. He will keep you entertained and loves to snuggle. He'll walk you to the bathroom and back to bed when your sick. He loves kitties and doggies. If interested, contact us via pm or email [email protected].
I'm a lover! I need someone to love all the time. I'm stuck here at the PetSmart waiting for someone to adopt me. I've got so much love to give and no human. Guess this cat bed will just have to do until someone adopts me.
Meet our sweet, hyper, 2yr old, 3-legged Sugar! She needs a foster or adopter.
She is:
*Spayed
*Up to date on vaccines & rabies
*Dewormed
*Heartworm negative
She will need a home with:
*No cats
*Children unsure
*Fenced yard
*Experienced/strong person
Her story:
We were notified by an animal lover of a neighboring dog chained to a tree with a wound to her leg. When we got there, we were horrified. The owner claimed Sugar's son bit her & it abscessed. Not once did she go to a vet. We think the abscess popped & eventually ate the skin, tissue, & muscle down to the bone. We immediately took her to the vet, where she began laser & hydro therapy. Slowly the wound almost healed. By the time the skin should have grown back, it stopped & began regressing. We had to amputate.
Sugar has been at the vets office in boarding for 4 months now & is still there. We still owe $2500. If you are interested in fostering or adopting, please send us a pm with your email and Sugar's name so we can send you an application. If you would like to donate towards her care, please call Countryview Animal Hosp at (252) 522-2110. Thank you!
After she was gone for two days, Ozzie is glad his foster mom is home. Ozzie, his sister Harriet, and all their foster siblings need a furever home. Do you need someone to be glad when you come home?
Little Archie was found in a wall. It will be awhile before he's ready to be adopted but we will accept applications.
We got our first check! But still need a lot more to get all these kittens ready for adoption. They are eating a lot so need food too. We are 501(c)3 non-profit. 100% of funds go to the animals. We have no overhead. So help these babies find forever homes.
Meet Swirls. Swirls went exploring during a recent adoption event at PetSmart in Goldsboro.
