🏡🐈 ADOPTION UPDATE: Freya (was Coco)

Hello everybody! I'm so glad I can share my first update with you all since being in my new home about a month now.

If you don't know my story, I needed an emergency space, along with another cat, after our mum had to flee from domestic violence. Fortunately we didn't suffer any injury or behavioural problems from our environment. Our mum had to do what was best for us and herself. However, I was heavily pregnant when I arrived so I went to have my babies with my lovely foster mummy. When my kids were old enough, and Crescent had a pen, we came back to get spayed/neutered and start the search for our new homes! My babies went pretty quickly but for some reason my search took a bit longer. But then in October of this year, the email everyone had been waiting for came in! With much excitement, the rescue waited to hear back from the interested adopters and a day was arranged for them to come and meet me.

Upon meeting me, they immediately they fell in love with me! What's not to love? Have you seen my little face! They were first time cat parents and the rescue knew I'd be the purr-fect fit for their family. I am such an easy going girl who adores anyone and everyone with such a sweet nature.
I settled in instantly too. I found the best spot in the house too, right where I can watch mummy make dinner! I've lost my "mum tum" now as well which is good as I'd put on a little weight since being a lot the rescue. I'm getting all my daily steps in by zooming about after eating!
I love my mummy but I have a super soft spot for my dad. I follow him everywhere and I go to him slightly more for games and love. But I do love sleeping between mummy's legs at night. I also adore the little humans that come to visit. I'll even sleep on their bed sometimes! Everyone who meets me says what a chill and lovely little girl I am. I have fitted in so well with my new family. I waited such a long time for someone to come along and it was absolutely worth the wait!
I'm off to have more zoomies now. Catch up again soon.

We're still waiting for Max to return home. Please, if you are in the ABBEY CRESCENT, THORPE LE SOKEN area and you are still feeding/encouraging Max to stay with you, we are politely asking that you stop. Max has a home and is missed. We want to know if he is okay.

His microchip is flagged as missing.

We had a lovely lady (so sorry, we didn't catch your name!) who donated all this food, a scratching post and two carriers this week!
She adopted her puss cat Mildred from us about 4 years ago and every year on Milly's birthday, her human donates some items to say thank you.
We're so grateful to you and we send lots of love to Mildred 💙

Hello everyone! It's Oreo here. I'm still waiting to find my fur-ever home!
I'm such a little love and although I have my boundaries, I'm such a cuddle bug. I love to drink from the tap and love cuddling up in bed with my foster mummy.
I have a heart murmur but it doesn't stop me from being a fun and lovely boy. I'm solely an indoor cat and I do not like other pets so I'll need to be the only animal in the home please.
I'd make such a nice companion 🤍

We don't know what Kevin, Kipling and Kai were staring at today but they were absolutely locked in! All three frozen like statues 😆 Normally there is absolute chaos in their pen but for a few short moments there was peace!

🏡🐈 ADOPTION UPDATE: Lottie (was Anna)

Hi guys! I wanted to check in with you all since I've been gone. For those who don't know, I was a stray and I was incredibly jumpy and nervous around new sounds and in particular, around men. I would shake and hide away in fear. I really flourished when I was in a pen though, as I think it helped having a bit more space and being more out in the open. I could see more of the world around me so I was more confident in myself and my surroundings.

It's been a little over a week since my mummy came to collect me and I immediately settled. I made myself comfy in a spot that mummy didn't think I could even reach; on top of the kitchen cupboard! I've proved to be quite the climber and like to sit up high where I can survey my kingdom. I've got a particular favourite bed too that I like to spend lots of time on, napping my day away.
My favourite thing to do though is watch TV with mummy. I really like watching The Repair Shop! Mummy and I enjoy our evening cuddles together and I've made amazing progress in my confidence too.
I can't wait to keep you posted on all of my future adventures!

🏡🐈‍⬛ ADOPTION UPDATE: Shadow

Hello my friends! Yes, it's me! I thought you'd like to hear how I've been getting on since my last update.
Just a recap of my story if you didn't know. My mummy very suddenly and tragically passed away and she was in our house for a while before anyone found her and myself. As you can imagine, I was absolutely traumatised. I spent some time with my foster mummy and then when Crescent had space, I was taken to the rescue. I was a little bit spicy at times but I really did want to trust the rescue humans. The rescue humans weren't sure how quickly I'd find a home as I was a black cat and I may take time to settle down because of my difficult past. Enter my new mummy!

I've already shared my initial update with you all but I wanted to let you know I'm still doing great! My brother Baxter (also from Crescent) and I love sleeping near each other now. Not next to but near. My favourite place to hang out is in my TV box! Shadow-vision anyone? I love my favourite pink blanket and laying in the sun to get all toasty warm. I like helping mummy pick new recipes and being a little sous chef while mummy cooks.
I've become the most affectionate boy again, so much so I like to jam my head into mummy for kisses! She's super proud of my and I know you all will be too!
I've got to go now and oversea some new recipes.

❗ STILL NOT RETURNED HOME❗

We've had apparent sightings of Max in ABBEY CRESCENT, THORPE LE SOKEN, but he's still not returned home.
We would politely ask if you're feeding him to please stop. We would like Max to come home as he's been missing for a few weeks now.
He is a big boy, not fat but lanky, he is neutered and his microchip is flagged as missing. Please contact the rescue if you have seen Max. Thank you 💙

OWNER LOCATED

This little guy has been handed in to Crescent this afternoon by a very kind member of the public. He was found wandering in traffic along THE PARADE, WALTON. We believe he's an UN-NEUTERED MALE, NOT MICROCHIPPED.

If you think he is yours then please contact the rescue via Facebook messenger or email at [email protected] as we will require PICTURE PROOF OF OWNERSHIP as he is not microchipped.

Please share to hopefully reunite this little fella 💙
