Atlas not only suffered from chronic ear infections, he’s also allergic to chicken and fish (he did the whole allergy blood panel). He was living, but not thriving on a diet centered around animal protein. Just like we see in humans who consume too many animal products, he was lethargic and had pervasive gastrointestinal issues. 🐾🤒🤕 Fast forward to now - he perplexes his veterinary care staff with his puppy-like energy and demeanor, his strength and agility, and his gorgeous, shiny coat. When I took him for his annual exam this year, the vet literally said to me - “Are you sure he’s 12? I would have guessed 3 or 4 otherwise.” No more ear infections, no GI issues, and enough energy to fuel the neighborhood. 🙌🏻🎊🎉🐾 There are a few vegan dog food options out there. After extensive research and recommendations, we decided on v-dog.
