Sadly, three of our four boys are no longer with us. Time is not kind to rats, and it's tough. We are not bringing any more in, and even though I love little Sigurd so much, we cannot afford to neuter him, and he is already extremely depressed in the few days its taken me to get things together.
If any of my past adopters have room for one more boy, he is without charge, with the only requirement being updated on him because I will miss him terribly.

A few people have reached out to me recently so I wanted to make a large scale announcement.
Unfortunately, my only line-sustaining female will not/cannot breed and with my main goal being no longer possible, I can't find it in my heart to continue. It hurts my soul and truly, it was my own fault for how things ended up this way but... there is nothing of my sweet Appa left to continue with and he was the entire reason behind this. So now I feel..... like it's pointless. I've lost the love I have for it because it seems hopeless.
I'm sorry to those who were patiently waiting for more babies from Runic, I tried so hard to bring you more! But the fates just don't agree.
I will always be an available resource to my last adopters, those who have questions or need guidance on good husbandry, and I will still facilitate food and treat/toy sales. But that is the only capacity we are able to operate in.

Guys, I don't know what's going on 😭 Arwen has slimmed back down and gone past her due date, but no babies 😭 I'm trying, I swear!
Little Arwen is DEFINITELY pregnant this time!!! Looking at a litter arriving next weekend 🤞 And in other news, Saoirse has joined the crew! We're testing the waters on a Harley line from two different lines (one is still to come) so hopefully, she will be a happy addition!

I have one female here who was meant to be a breeder, but is not quite what I'm looking to perpetuate. She's shy and timid, but not bad, just needs more work and one on one time. She is the only rat I have able to go right now so she would only be available to a previous adopter with rats from me at home right now.

Ugh, sad news. Either they both absorbed their litters or neither got pregnant in the first place! Baby watch was Saturday and neither have popped out kittens and don't look (or weigh) like they will be yet. So we will put them together again 🤣
And what could possibly be better than one surprise but TWO surprise's! We are expecting not one, but TWO Marten litters in mid-end July ❤️ (far less photogenic)

It will be 6 weeks not too long from now and although most are not picking up at that time, it IS time to start figuring out when you WILL be coming to get your little ones! You can schedule your pick up day on the website, but please note that I will only be doing one pick up per day (starting 4/24) and it will be first come first serve for booking!
