We have been laughing about Bamm’s expression in this picture and this sums it up.

What an incredible ride. They say all good things come to an end but we say if they do, go out with a bang! And that’s just what Rupert and Daniel did by giving it their all and making history as the first Picard to place at “The Garden.” They added that to an impressive show career that included being the first Picard to get a group placement at the AKC National championship, first to get a Group 1 at the AKC National Dog Show, two years as No. 1 Picard Breed and All-Breed, National Specialty Winner and holder of the most Best in Shows for a Picard with 7. All of this wouldn’t have been possible without an amazing team who believed in him including owners Chris, Grace, Bob and Gay; Daniel and Amanda who presented him flawlessly; and all the folks who supported this gargantuan effort. We appreciate all the judges over the years who recognized him and everyone who cheered him on along the way. When he was a pup, there was something about him that was special and I told Chris so. And, he really, really is!

What a Day! Rupert and Daniel Best of Breed, Elle and Amanda Best Opposite and Bamm Bamm and Mike Select at Westminster! Tonight will be Rupert’s last time in the ring which is so bittersweet! It’s been a great ride!
