Maple Rock Stables is Family owned and operated by Heidi and Kyle Martin. We offer boarding on our 100 acre farm, with newly planted grass pastures, 120'x200' outdoor riding ring, 50'x50' warm up ring, and a large trail ring complete with trail equipment. We offer both 10'x10' and 8'x10' box stalls to accommodate your horse or pony for your boarding needs. There are many trail riding opportunities

just minutes from our location including a family owned sugar bush, North Perth walking trails, Maple Keys, and Conestoga conservation area. We offer beginner safe lessons on quiet and experienced horses, as well as our new kids club program for ages 12 and under. Lessons for children and adults of all ages at any riding level. There are co boarding and leasing opportunities for showing western pleasure and speed events, trial riding and using our facilities. We specialize in putting a strong training foundation on any horse regardless of the discipline they are destined for. We have worked with a variety of horses ranging from reining, western and english pleasure, speed events, trail, and jumping. Our trainer and coach has apprenticed with a national level english and western judge, and has years of personal show, training and coaching experience.

Our Story

Maple Rock Stables is Family owned and operated by Heidi and Kyle Martin. We offer boarding and lessons on our 100 acre farm. Featuring newly planted grass pastures, large 20’x60’ outdoor shelter, 120'x200' outdoor riding ring complete with western gaming equipment and timer system, 50'x50' outdoor warm up ring, indoor sand working pen, and a large trail ring with both traditional trail and ultimate cowboy obstacles. We offer both 10'x10' and 8'x10' box stalls to accommodate your horse or pony for your indoor boarding needs. As well as a large 20’x60’ outdoor shelter for horse to get out of the weather. Group turn out on pastures during season. There are many trail riding opportunities for our boarders just minutes from our location including a family owned sugar bush, North Perth walking trails, Maple Keys, and Conestoga conservation area. Our kids club program is beginner walk jog classes on quiet and experienced horses, for ages 12 and under. Western lessons range from beginner to showing, with knowledgeable and experienced coach. With a strong background in Speed events such as barrel racing, pole bending and more, as well as Western performance classes. Lessons for children and adults of all ages at any riding level. Specialty lessons in Vaulting and trick riding.

Home to the Maple Rock Vaulters! Vaulting is a growing sport in Ontario. It combines the agility of gymnastics, creativity of dance and harmony of riding all on a moving horse. You don't need to have experience in any of these sports to have fun in vaulting. We offer both competitive and recreational lessons. Our team travels for competitions over the season and put on clinics at other barns to teach the horse lovers about our sport, and we love it! We specialize in working with both horse and rider, we believe in building a partnership between horse and rider. Giving opportunities to build positive experience, giving you and your horse confidence in each other. We build a strong foundation based on liberty training on any horse regardless of the discipline they are destined for. We have worked with a variety of horses ranging from reining, western and english pleasure, speed events, trail, and jumping. Our trainer and coach has apprenticed with a national level english and western judge, and has years of personal show, training and coaching experience.
