We have had all the seasons in one day today in Essex!
Trying to get my steps in and tried using the biscuit app for the first time. It’s days like this that I really don’t fancy a walk after being at work all day but it really does make you feel so much better after it 🍃

Second batch of hot cross buns made! Left them proving for longer this time and they are a bit more fluffy. I have also got bits to make chocolate mini egg nests for Easter next week 🪺

More prep for the concrete raft! Exciting seeing the outline of our house take shape!

They have started laying the membrane down and the crushed stone has arrived.
Plan for next week is to carry on laying it all out, dig the hole for the services to be attached and potentially start the piling at the end of the week. You can see the rods at the back of the garden piled up
DAY 2 🚜
The diggers have arrived on site! They are starting to outline the footings and move top soil to the back of the garden for us. Electric has been fitted into the Sip and Dip (shed). Levelling still needs to be worked out with the architects 🏡

Day One of our next chapter! 🏡
This is the first day the builders are on site! Bit of a soft launch of planning and setting out the site. Water and electricity will be set up this week and diggers will hopefully arrive in the next few days too!

I had the pleasure of going to the Co-Laboratories in Camden to shoot some photos of the Zonova® drain in-situ!
The Zonova® drain is used exactly like a standard drain, but actively fights off infection throughout its use. It has been tested against:
1) MRSA
2) ESBL producing P. aeruginosa
3) E. coli
4) SARS-CoV-2
and are effective > 99.99% against all ✅ 🙌

Abdominal Surgery CPD 👩🏻⚕️
I went to a 2 day Abdominal Surgery Central CPD course last week in Kennington, London. We covered a huge amount from ex-lap techniques, enterotomy, enterectomy, splenectomy, gastropexy, Cholecystecomy, O-tubes and peg tubes. Would highly recommend!
P.S. they do a good lunch too!

Make sure you check your pets all over, including toes, paw pads, fronts of legs, armpits and ears.
Keep clean with salt water or hibiscrub diluted if you find one digging in!

Going to show you guys the effect of using the dental care spray for one month so stay tuned for the After pictures.
Of course it is always best paired with brushing your dogs teeth too but I know for a lot of people it is easier said than done.
For Finn I will be using the spray in the morning and brushing his teeth with toothpaste in the evening 🦷🪥

Today is Blue Monday 💙
Whilst we are all getting back into the routine after the new year, the mornings and nights are still dark and the weather is pretty miserable at the moment…
Now is the perfect time to message your friends to get a date in the diary together, maybe think about planning day trips/weekends away or evening a long holiday if your lucky enough! There’s plenty to look forward to this year, just need to be organised to get everything in. And if you haven’t started on those new year resolutions, todays the day to make the first small step! Make today a positive one 💙
Boxing Day walk 🌳
Time to walk off all the calories consumed yesterday and then do it all over again today. We are lucky as we will be at my mum and dads tomorrow with my side of the family for Christmas take 2 too! 🎄🎁
