Introducing PAWS Pet of the Week, Diva! 🐶✨

Meet Diva! This 10-month-old sweetheart is a Retriever and Chesapeake Bay mix (we think!) weighing about 43 lbs. She’s a total lovebug and natural snuggler who’s sure to steal your heart. Give her a few scratches and belly rubs, and she’ll melt right into your lap!

Diva is playful and loves the outdoors—she’s a pro at fetch, enjoys a good run, and never misses a chance to splash in the water. She gets along well with other dogs and has experience living with them, especially those who love to play as much as she does! On leash, she’s a great walking companion, staying right by your side. Highly intelligent and food-motivated, Diva makes training a breeze. Whether she's learning a new trick or just hanging out, she loves being close to her people, always curious to see what you’re up to. ❤️

Our shelves are running low at our Dripping Springs campus, and we need your help to keep our furry friends happy and healthy! We’re in need of the following:

🐾 Dog treats
🐾 Clumping cat litter
🐾 Purina One dry cat food
🐾 Purina One dry dog food

PAWS Pet of the Week is Pumpkin! 🎃

In the spirit of Halloween, we thought it was only fitting to feature Pumpkin, a 1.5-year-old, 22-pound pup with a personality as delightful as her name! Pumpkin is looking for a quiet home where her sweet nature and quirks can truly shine. Known for her excellent leash manners and love of snuggling up with her person, she makes a wonderful, loyal companion.

Pumpkin would thrive best in a serene home without other pets or young children, where she can enjoy a calm, consistent environment. While she loves being near her human, Pumpkin can feel unsure about being picked up and may experience some anxiety when left alone, so we believe her ideal match will be a patient, understanding adopter who can offer her the gentle, structured support she needs.

Long-Stay Adoption Update ⭐️

We are thrilled to share an exciting update on one of our long-time residents, Blueberry! Originally coming to us at the end of 2022, Blueberry quickly found a home after just a couple of months at our Kyle campus. However, despite our hopes, it wasn't meant to be his forever home, and he was returned to us five months later.💔

After patiently waiting and looking for his perfect match, we're happy to announce that Blueberry has officially found his forever family, and we couldn’t be more excited for him! Here’s what his new adopters have to say:

"Blue is adjusting wonderfully here at home. He picked up on our routine quickly and fits right in. He loves the backyard, and we even got him a kiddie pool to play in! He’s a huge cuddler, which we love. He gets so excited whenever we come home. We’ve also enrolled him in 14 training classes at Zoom Room in South Austin. Our focus is to help him with manners like jumping up, pulling on the leash during walks, and improving his focus and recall. He’s a wonderful addition to our family, and we’re so thankful to have him!"

🌟 PAWS Pet of the Week: Meet Cider! 🌟

Cider is a gentle soul who has been at our Dripping Springs campus for about 4 months, and she’s patiently waiting for her forever home. She may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, you’ll discover her playful and affectionate side. Cider loves a good game of fetch and enjoys spending time outside. She’s also been showing great signs of being housetrained and has had positive interactions with other dogs.

Cider had a tough start—she was abandoned at our entrance with her puppies—but despite it all, she’s made incredible progress in learning to trust people again. With some patience and love, she’s sure to be a loyal companion and cuddle bug.

Cider would thrive in a moderately quiet home with a yard where she can play and continue building her confidence. Could you be the one to give her the happy ending she deserves? 🐾❤️
