I came across this sweet video of Raj and his new girlfriend….he loved the ladies and they loved him🥰This was in 2020 and he was going to physical therapy…pretty bougee, but he was worth every bit of it to help his joints. Just this week, I came across his adoption paperwork which showed him to be about a year old at adoption. One vet of mine thought he was a tad older. So, Raj did live a long great life after I adopted him. We spent 9.9 years together and he was possibly close to 11 years old when he passed. I truly believe he escaped from a backyard where he was tied up. I do believe he was abused and never allowed in the house. He was fearful at first when it came to going for walks and at first he didn’t want to wear his collar and leash. Just like his sister Xena, all it takes is patience, kindness and love to break a once abused pup into a champion. I love and miss you everyday my Raj, but in true Raj spirit you sent Xena and based on Bougee’s personality, Joey sent her❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Not a day goes by that I don’t think of this boy! He came to me when we were both so sad. My dad had passed away just 4-months prior to our meeting. He was the most beautiful, but saddest older puppy, sitting with his face staring at the ground in a kennel at the Houston SPCA. It was love at first sight, but I had no plans for adoption. I put my name on a list to foster him and thank God I did, he would soon be slated for euthanasia due to kennel cough! Raj must have been close to a year old when we met and passed away on May 10, 2020. He had to be closer to 11 when he Ieft to the Rainbow Bridge. He’s about 4 in this photo all spiffy after his Christmas groom. Thanks for taking such good care of me and for sending Xena❤️
