FYI yo everyone in Winslow,
Someone cut our dogs metal chain last night between 12 and 3 am.

I will make it clear, I'll smile in my mugshot if someone is Targeting my dogs. I won't think twice hurting someone.

My dogs are inside unless they are outside using the bathroom/play time, but either way everyone needs to be on alert. Check your chains, if you have cameras make sure ur pets are in the view of them. And if they are outside all the time, check on them often.

⚠️ WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 10 AM TUESDAY‼️
Wind chills low as -20F are expected tonight. Please, bring your pets inside and keep them warm.

Just like humans, pets can develop frostbite and hypothermia in extreme cold.

🥶 Frostbite is a survival mechanism wherein the body restricts blood flow to areas furthest away from the heart in order to keep the core body temperature where it should be and promote organ function.
For this reason, extremities are most at risk for developing frostbite. On your pets, this means the tips of their ears, their nose, tail, and paws.

Signs that it is too cold for your animals:

🥶 Shivering
🥶 Seeking warm spots or asking to go inside
🥶 Lifting paws off the ground
🥶 Acting lethargic or uncoordinated
