It's official:
This is the beginning of a wonderful journey. I have finally filled the hole in my heart with something I love to do, and truly care for. This business is a way to contribute to the animal community, as I donate 5% of all profits directly to local no-kill animal shelters, and I'm currently planning for a booth at the Bark For Life Cancer Drive in Westlake, on November 1st. An extra
10% of any profits will be donated towards the treatment and research in the fight against cancer! A few members of my local Ventura, California area have asked for examples of what I do for our furry friends! I bring them handmade, custom furniture. Whether it's as simple as a standard sized floor bed for your Jack Russell Terrier, or a Multi-Layered complex build as shown below, it's possible. Why, Parker, why pet beds?? Well the answer is really quite simple: because our "Buddy," our "Winston" and our "Mollie" all deserve somewhere nice to lay that's cool, durable, and COMFORTABLE, not to mention being made of health-conscious materials wherever possible. They deserve good sleep, considering they sleep for almost double the national average for a human. That's 12-14 hours a DAY! As for the name, I grew up in the mattress business, recently becoming a Journeyman in the sewing trade, by creating handmade beds for many members of our local communities. Our family business was just awarded an article on the front page of the Ventura County Star's Sunday Business section and it prompted me. My first name will always follow me, and I will always follow my heart. I do what I do, the work and love your animals will enjoy, all within itself.
