Just like in "Schitt's Creek", sweet Johnny wears her tuxedo with the same style as her namesake. She is a sweet girl, and a typical kitten who plays hard then naps hard. She loves to play and entertain her foster family. She is fostered with multiple cats, large dogs and tweens and is confident with everything going on around her.

Johnnie is sweet, confident and loves attention. Ash is a good buddy of Johnnie's and is a shyer cat but is more confident with Johnnie or his other buddy Black Jack. Johnnie can be adopted individually but if you have room for another, Ash would be a great cat to have as well. You can see by their photos how much Johnnie and Ash enjoy each other, and the same for Ash and Black Jack.

These animals are up for adoption at the Bismarck Pound. We have NO information on them so please contact 223-1212 and ask for animal control to set up a visit or get more information.
⚠️These animals if not rescued or adopted are at risk to be euthanized. If you are looking for a new family member please consider adopting from the pound.
‼️If you are looking to just go "save an animal" and not willing to give the animal a chance 3-3-3 rule please reconsider. Several instances that someone wants to save an animal they put it in a worse situation than being at the pound.‼️
Please share and let's find good homes for these unclaimed animals.

Prada is a very friendly and affectionate girl who loves attention, loves to play and loves to give head butts. She wants to be near her favorite person as much as possible, even better if she can be on your lap. She would do best with an experienced cat owner, who understands her way of communicating when she does or doesn't want to be pet. Young kids and other pets will be too much for this sweet old gal, she wants to be the center of attention, ideally in a quiet home where her person is around a lot. Even as a senior cat, she still is very playful and will ask for playtime throughout the day.

Prada has onset kidney disease but isn't on any meds, just a special diet that she's doing very well on. She only has a few teeth left but does well on dry and wet food. She is a long-haired cat, but with her age and kidney disease, her coat is much healthier when kept short. She has experience with professional grooming and shaving, and is noticeably happier and more active with shorter fur.

Meet Charlotte, she is friendly, playful, soft and beautiful. Her big eyes and unique personality will quickly capture your heart. She does well with other cats so long as you use slow introductions when meeting new pets and she has her own space for retreating when she's ready for a nap. Has been fostered with kids, but we are unsure whether she does well with dogs. She does have some seasonal allergies with sneezing and may require a short-term medication to help her through it, but she's been so much better without any medications the past six months.

Thank you Taylor Aasen with Tay's TV for doing this interview. A group of animal loving people wanted to help decrease the euthanasia rate at the pound and thats how FFRR started. We have grown a lot in the last 10 years as the need is constant. Julie is very driven, motivated and we are convinced she doesn't sleep. 😁It takes a lot to run our day to day operations and we can only do this because we have some amazing volunteers. Last year we were able to help over 4,000 animals and we hope to help more this year. We network with others rescues when we run out of space and transport animals weekly. We pull from pounds in the state when the animals are at risk of euthanasia. We take in owner surrenders, neglect and abuse cases and strays. You'll see a few of our wonderful volunteers out in the community setting up missy traps for dumped or lost dogs. You'll also see our amazing cat team out trapping and putting out shelters for lost and stray cats. We have a great barn cat program. Also, we have a wonderful TNR team that helps spay and neuter feral cat colonies. Spay and neutering is the best way to help alleviate the overpopulation and suffering of animals in our community. If you adopt an animal from the pound we will help with fixing and vaccinating with proof of adoption. Our goal with that is to help the pound and also help with overpopulation. Trying to be proactive instead reactive. We also help the community such as, AARC, United Way, other rescues and shelters. Our messages, phones and emails are constant with people needing help. As we have grown so have our monthly vet costs, we estimate around $75,000 a month in vet care alone. We fund raise hard and we are thankful for wonderful businesses that help us through gaming. We wouldn't be able to continue our mission of helping animals in need with out all of the support. Julie and all of us at FFRR are very passionate about animal abuse as we have seen some really horrible cases so we will continue that fight! We look forward to working with Dakota Cat Cafe when they open!! Can't wait!🐾💜
