Abbie is a quiet 12yr old, front declawed lady who prefers to be the only pet in a low-activity home, she enjoys laps and a snip of daily catnip. Abbie's forever home should be with experienced cat people who know the signs of over-stimulation because she has her boundaries on light petting or rough scritches; however, if you're good at deep cat massages you'll have her drooling and your best friend in no time. Little kids will have too much energy for her so it's good for her to have a place she can retreat to while they are visiting.

Less than one week away! Start spreading the word. The North Dakota Raise for Rescues is an online giving event that helps to raise money for more than 20 rescues and shelters in ND.

The need to help homeless animals is great across the state and we are all working together to raise not just money, but awareness as well. Help us by spreading the word!

Jackson was found as a stray with Bear. Jackson is friendly, seems to get along with other dogs. Jackson likes car rides and thinks he is a lap dog; he sits on command and takes treats gently. He seems to be quite the lover just needs someone to show him how to be his best self.

Tohru - curious, independent, playful
Tohru [also answers to Ru] is a sweet girl that loves to explore and play. She gets along with other cats and a small dog. Although Ru didn't cause any harm, due to her curious nature, small animals and birds will need to be supervised. She has spent much time with kids aged 3 to 11 and did very well; however, toddlers should be closely supervised until they understand how to behave with cats. Ru will thrive best in a house that offers plenty of stimulation to keep her busy. She also has boundaries and will wiggle free if she doesn't want to do what you're doing, like clipping nails. When she finally tires herself out you will find a wonderful lap cat that enjoys watching TV.

This sweet girl was found scared and wet just south of St. Mary's high school. She did not show any aggression when picked up. Ailwyn will need a couple days and some patience to get comfortable and become familiar with new surroundings. When she comes out of her shell she will love to be pet and snuggled. She is petite, has a cute head tilt, and will rub on you to get some extra love. This little girl loves to have her belly rubbed and will actively roll over. She is becoming more vocal but quiets as soon as you stop for a visit. She is using a litter box like a champ and eating well. Ailwyn is fostered with dogs and does great but not sure about cats. We do know she's very laid back so with all new pets, we encourage slow introductions, so their first meet is a positive start to a lasting friendship.

🐶L👀KING FOR DOG HOUSES OR KIDS PLAYHOUSES WHICH COULD BE MADE INTO WINTER SHELTERS FOR THE STRAY ANIMALS THIS WINTER.🦮

We know we cannot save them all but we would like to do what we can before the cold weather hits. If you have any shelters you would like to donate along with some coolers you may save some lives.

I'm a sweet kitten, but am very shy. New surroundings make me a little nervous, can you be patient to teach me to be brave? Im learning that humans can be very nice and I love when they scratch my head. I will need slow introductions with new places, people and pets. I would probably do best in a quieter household with adults or older kids. I love being with my sister Atarah, and would love to go to a home with her since she helps me feel safe, but I could be happy with a family who gives me the time I need to feel relaxed. I'm adorable, and will entertain you as I explore new toys at your home.

Oreo is part of a bonded pair with Snickers. We want to adopt them together.

If you want a lap dog, then Oreo is your man. He loved to be held and talked to. He is a smart little guy that will listen to all your conversations. He has mastered the art of begging by standing on his 2 hind legs, whether for treats or attention.

He is still young and active. Loves to play with toys and his best friend Snickers. Don't let his small stature fool you, he has a huge heart in that little body.
