Angela Stockdale is an international dog behaviourist, who specialises in aggression. She has over 30 year’s experience in animal welfare, working in the UK, Europe, Japan and Australia. After working for a national welfare organisation, as their animal care manager, she established her own animal rescue centre caring for dogs with severe aggression issues. Angela won the ' Animal Country ' award
for her dedication to animal welfare, presented by Sarah Kennedy and Desmond Morris in 1995. Angela works closely with Animal Shelters in the UK and overseas, including Japan, Poland and Italy; primarily advising on kennel stress management and rehabilitation of aggression issues. She has worked closely with RSPCA, The Dog’s Trust, Battersea Dogs Home and Guide Dogs for the Blind. Angela lectured at Southampton University on Canine Aggression and was an associate of Robin Walker MRCVS, sadly no longer with us, who was a co-founder of Centre of Applied Pet Ethology (COAPE). Angela was a behaviour consultant for the television series 'Absolutely Animals' and was also involved in the television series, Pet Rescue, working with dogs with social issues at her local RSPCA. She was also featured with her Teaching Dogs on the National Geographic television programme, 'Dogs with Jobs'. Currently, she runs extensive webinars and workshops on various topics including Aggression, Communication, Emotions and Behaviour, Natural Relationships, Possession and Prey Drive.
