"❤ Last weekend home owners found a 5-6 week old female eastern grey squirrel in their yard, crying and walking up to them, dehydrated and malnourished. They brought her in. It was apparent something had happened to mom and after a day or two she had braved her way down to seek help. They were told to please watch and listen for siblings and to call if they found any. The following day another call came, her brother had showed up mid day, very dehydrated and covered in fleas.
Here they are a couple days later, cleaned up, rehydrated, full bellies, and back together.
THIS is why when you can’t reunite with mom you ALWAYS make every effort to find them all, and this is why you NEVER, EVER separate siblings ❤"❤

Today he is very weak. When he tries to walk. It's very awkward and yet he desires to be near me and my friend. I don't know how much longer he has left but this is a picture of him at peace by his heater.

I believe his time draws nigh. He's at stage 4 with kidney failure and it's just days now. My job now is to keep him at ease and make his passing peaceful. I will be one old sad knight when my king leaves me.

Good news. Noodle has pulled through the oral surgery and is doing fine. I should be able to get him in a couple of hours. He sends his love and blessings to all of you and your fur children. ♥️🙏😺

Each day he is a little more uneasy. I faithfully administer his pain medication after which he curls up beside me. He still enjoys meditating with me.

It seems now I'm a hospice worker. His weight is declining and he isn't eating. All he wants is my lap. For me,I don't mind dieing just don't want it to be painful. This is how I want it to be for him. If you calculate his years into humans, he's over 20. Failed as a father and a husband but Noodles gave me a second chance at love and he has taught me a lot.

He and I have a rhythm that when he is in dis-ease I put down everything and administer to his needs. Smooth back rubs along his cold body. Restoring heat and always responding to his voice.
