We are delighted to have Jacki from Horse Bribes with us for our Equine Day next Saturday the 21st.

Horse Bribes is a local company, established in 2018 out of a desire to provide horses with healthy and 100% natural treats. Every order is freshly made from organic ingredients. And because Horse Bribes contain zero additional sugar, molasses, preservatives or colourants, they are perfect for horses with chronic illnesses, such as laminitis, inflammation, and insulin resistance.

Jacki will be selling her treats on the day and there to answer any questions about treats for you horse.

We are excited to invite you all along to our Equine Day at the sanctuary on the 21st of May 2022. Gates open 12:30pm and close again at 2:30pm. Parking is limited at the sanctuary so car sharing is recommended where possible.

Guided tours of the sanctuary's equines will be running, with opportunities to get up and close with some of our residents in our pony grooming corner. Helping us to raise funds we will have a small bake sale, all proceeds going to provide for the equines who call Crosskennan their permanent home.

We are very pleased to have a number of professionals and individuals attending to share word on what you can do with your equines to improve their wellbeing. Included in the line up is Crosskennan's very own Kenny and Pip who will be attending with their adopter to showcase some of the tricks they've learnt through natural horsemanship and explain how this has helped with their training and their bond.

Valerie from Westfield Equine Reiki will also be attending, demonstrating and ready to discuss and explain the benefits of reiki to you and your pets.

Linda Van Der Horst will also be attending and will be ready to answer questions and show you exactly what TTouch and Surefoot pads can do for your equine friends.

For those of you who are curious about feed management and diet plans we will have Shirley from TopSpec horse feeds in attendance ready to discuss and help you work out the best plan for your horses.

Jacki from Horse Bribes - the healthy horse treat company - will also be attending with the chance to buy some of the organic 100% natural treats, suitable for horses with chronic illnesses, such as laminitis, inflammation, and insulin resistance; made right here in Northern Ireland.

We hope to see many people there at our first Equine Day since 2019!
