My 1st Birthday over the rainbow bridge
I would have been 8 back home.
I chased some frogs and bunnies unsuccessfully, Slept on the softest puffiest clouds ate some delicious food,
had cake & Ice cream with some of my bestest friends and then slept some more.
I know mom & dad thought about me today, I watched as they came home from their trip and mentioned that I wasn’t there to greet them, then tonight she spread the peanut butter on her toast and looked down at the floor for a pool of drool, that wasn’t there.….I miss everyone terribly but am happy and healthy here over the bridge.

Took my last car ride today….
These people at Martenson Family Pet Service’s assured Mom & Dad that I would be handled with care.
I’ll be back home (in a different way) Monday.

It is with a very heavy heart that we share the news that our beloved Cali crossed the Rainbow Bridge tonight at 6:00pm

At almost 8years old, she gave us many years of laughter, love, slobbery kisses and yes broken bones. Best dog ever!!
Run free girl! We’ll miss you always

Today started out pretty normal, except mom let me out instead of dad, (he’s in the hospital) mom fed me & gave me my medicine, no big deal. Then she went to work and left me home all by myself all day! She didn’t come home until 5:30!! And even though I had my legs crossed for what seemed like hours, when mom finally showed up I did the only respectful thing I could think of…..I ignored her and her constant pleas to go outside. Ok finally she got me standing and I relented and went outside. While outside I made my master plan to run away as soon as she open up the door. My plan was to just walk calmly through the garage and just keep walking to get far enough away that mom couldn’t catch me. I heard her say “excuse me where are you going?” “Hey get over here” “Cali get over here!” I just put my nose in the air and kept walking. She thought I’d just walk to the porch cause it is my favorite spot outside, but I showed her and just kept waking (if my hips weren’t bad I would have run) I WAS DETERMIND TO RUN AWAY BECAUSE SHE OBVIOUSLY DOESNT LOVE ME ANYMORE, I MEAN SHE LEFT ME HOME ALL DAY BY MYSELF!! Long story short, she caught me in the neighbors back yard, and I’m happy she did because I was starving and she brought me home a McDonalds plain hamburger 🍔. I’ll be happy when dad comes home 🐾

She was gone for 10 days
10 days I slept by her empty room
10 days I looked for her all over the house
On the 11th day she came home

It’s hard to hold back from destroying all toys, that’s why I don’t have a lot. My girls gave me presents for Christmas and I only have 1 left. Santa went into surgery to save his face and stuffing this morning and came out almost good as new. I can’t promise he’ll make it through the night though as I just love him to death!
