Trick or Treat is tonight!
☑️Your dog doesn’t want or need to go trick or treating.
☑️ Your dog doesn’t want to see strange people walking around in masks.
☑️ Your dog doesn’t want to greet the strangers that comes to their door in costume.
☑️ Your dog doesn’t need dressed up and paraded around with chaos happening all around them.

Lock your dog up for their safety and everyone else’s!
There are no exceptions!!

“I want that relationship with my dog”
“I want my dog to behave like that”

Things we hear OFTEN…

This was conversation between one of our owners and myself. 🎯

“I think a big problem is people think they’re doing enough. They take the dog outside on a walk once a day and maybe do a 10 min training session.

That’s great. Now repeat that training session 4 more times in that same day. And after each session put the dog in the crate and let him think about what all the brain firing that just took place. Let him soak up
The “no’s” and “yes’s”.

Don’t let him dick in your house and chase your kids around because it tires him out.

Turn your tv off, get off your ass, and grab a toy and tug with the dog. Let him win. Praise him when he wins. Go again.

Instead of coming home after a long day of work and throwing food in a bowl for the dog, put it in a training pouch and go out front on a leash and walk back and forth in front of your house for 30 mins making the dog sit every time you stop until he does it without a command. And then do it again every single day that week.

Sacrifice your time for their time. Your tiredness is no excuse for not training your dog.

Next time you say “I want that with my dog” look at what you actually do with your dog and ask yourself, am I doing enough? Answer is 9/10 times, no.

That’s the work people don’t see.

Breeding dogs is a lifetime of losses.
We lose newborn puppies...
We lose show prospects that don't turn out..
We lose dogs that fail health testing...
We lose dog shows...
We lose sleep way too often...
We lose young mothers...
And after all those losses, we lose our beloved old dogs.

Yet we all are here for the little gains that seem to keep us going.
A puppy that takes it's first breath..
A nuzzle by our best old pal..
A ribbon at a dog show...
A light in a family's eyes when they hold their puppy for the first time...
A wag of a nub...
A new generation that turns out better than the one before...
ALL FOR THE LOVE OF A DOG AND OUR BREED AS A WHOLE, our hearts are resilient.💗
