It’s with the deepest sadness that we share the news of Ty’s passing. We are heartbroken. Everyone always said how lucky he was to have found us, and that was true, but we were just as lucky to have him. He was a quirky, funny little guy and we already miss him so, so much.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has loved Ty right along with us. We have always appreciated it and appreciate it even more during these dark days.

This pic was taken on our last morning together. We had no idea this would be our final hike together but we our grateful that he had such a perfect morning before saying goodbye.

We’re back at UW Veterinary Care this week to get our little buddy another round of radiation to treat that pesky tumour. He’s in the best hands possible so we’re hoping to be back chasing squirrels by the weekend!

Happy long weekend to our 🇨🇦 and 🇺🇸 friends! Ty is doing excellent and some of the hair is even growing back on his snout. ❤️

Hi All! We’re happy to report that Tyson is doing great post-radiation! He’s even back to his bouncy, goofy antics which is so great to see. He has lost quite a bit of fur on his face though as a result of the treatment. We’re not sure if it will grow back or not…so there are potentially even more character scars than before for our little buddy.

A quick update to let you all know that Ty is doing well under the care of the amazing team at University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. He’s had 3 of 10 radiation treatments and is coming home for lots of love in the evenings. Keep the good vibes coming!

A quick update to let you know that we’ve arrived safely in Wisconsin and that Ty had a CT scan this morning. The plans for his treatment over the next two weeks are underway. He’s home now for the weekend and (almost) back to his regular perky self following his general anesthesia earlier today.

We are 5 hours into our 18 hour journey to to get Tyson his cancer treatment with the Radiation Oncology Department. They are the best in the world so Ty will be in good hands!

Took Ty out for a pup cup this afternoon. He gets whatever he wants from here on out (within reason)!

It’s been awhile since we’ve posted and sadly we’re checking in to share some sad news… Ty has been having a hard time breathing and tests have confirmed that he has a nasal adenocarcinoma which is an aggressive form of cancer. We’re figuring out a treatment plan and will let you know how things go, but in the meantime please send good vibes to our little buddy.
