How we started
The story of K9 Dynamic is the story of a springer spaniel named Daisy. I had dogs growing up, but had spent much of my adult life without one, as I completed my education, built a career and started a family. When it came time to add a dog to my family, I was determined to give her the best care possible. I spent months researching: training, socialization, health care and nutrit
ion. I decided that I would feed Daisy a homemade diet of meat, offal, and a small percentage of fruit and vegetables. The science clearly showed that this diet, though probably the healthiest practical option, needed some supplementation. In looking at what supplements were available on store shelves or for purchase online, I found they were all unsuitable for providing proper nutrition in homemade, and most commercially available raw diets, according to AAFCO and NRC profiles. I started making my own. On my kitchen counter, I would line up containers of 2 separate vitamins, 5 separate minerals , 1 amino acid and kelp standardized for Iodine content. Then I would calculate the volume, number of capsules or number of tablets needed of each ingredient and grind it all into a powder. While doing this, I thought "This would be a a lot easier if someone had already put this together in a capsule and bottled it." Since "someone" hadn't it would have to be me. So I started K9 Dynamic. Daisy is healthy and happy. We enjoy each other's company around the house, on long rambling walks and playing in the back yard and I look forward to enjoying her company for many years to come. Mike Dick

Why K9 Dynamic? Your dog is a member of the family. You want the best for your pet. So, you are feeding a diet of fresh food, with actual recognizable fresh food ingredients. You are avoiding the waste products, not fit for human consumption, that make up a huge percentage of commercial dog food. But, if this fresh food diet is not nutritionally balanced you could be doing more harm than good. K9 Dynamic provides the essential vitamins and minerals needed to ensure your dog`s diet is compete and balanced. So, you can continue to feed a fresh homemade diet or a commercial raw diet with the peace of mind that your pet is getting all required nutrients.
