Our foster homes are located throughout northern Oakland County, MI. We rescue animals in risk of being euthanized in high kill shelters and intake surrendered animals based on foster home availability. We also focus efforts on assisting with reuniting misplaced animals with their rightful owners. We are the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Born in Detroit on July 18, 2025 to a backyard breeder, Reece was surrendered to our rescue and was quickly diagnosed with a genetic condition called Optic Nerve Hypoplasia (thanks to the amazing experts at ). While that means she can’t see, it hasn’t slowed her down one bit. She’s a happy, healthy, playful puppy who loves snuggles, toys, and the company of other dogs (and even cats!).

Reece is a fast learner, already working on house and crate training, and has mastered navigating her foster home with confidence. She’s smart, outgoing, and as sweet as they come. 🐕‍🦺

Don’t let his size fool you—Halo is truly a gentle giant at heart! At just 2 years old, this big boy is still figuring out the world around him. While he may look intimidating, he’s really just a big baby learning to be brave. 💖

When you first meet Halo, you'll notice his hesitation. He stands back, unsure if it’s safe to take the leap toward friendship. But with a little patience and encouragement, that uncertainty quickly melts into tail wags, nose boops, and gentle sniffs as he leans in for affection. Once he trusts you, he soaks up all the love and happily nuzzles in for pets and hugs!

Halo isn’t a fan of loud, rowdy environments. The shelter he was in during his stray hold was overwhelming for him, and the loud barking dogs made him freeze. He’ll thrive in a calm home with a breed-experienced family where he doesn’t feel overwhelmed. Toys are still a mystery to him, but he’s showing little glimpses of playfulness, and with time, his goofy, fun-loving side is sure to shine through!

This sweet boy has excellent manners when handled, accepts restraint, and even walks nicely in a calm environment. He would likely do well with a respectful, low-key dog companion who can show him the ropes and help build his confidence. Miles has been in foster care for 7 MONTHS, patiently waiting for his perfect match! He is a 3 year old 16lb small breed dog - it's hard to understand why it is taking him so long to find a home! 😪

This sweet boy has come a long way from where he started and is yearning to find a loving home where he can truly shine. Miles is all about love and companionship—he bonds quickly and tends to choose his favorite human, often leaning toward a male figure.

🏠 Miles would thrive in a single-person home where he can have all the focus and attention he deserves. He’s been fostered with other dogs but can be a little dominant, so he’s looking for a more peaceful environment. Vienna, Terry, Gordie, Wayne, and Bobby are 4-month-old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix puppies who are cute as can be and ready to find their forever homes! 🐶💕

These pint-sized pups are full of personality and classic puppy energy — which means lots of playtime, curiosity, and of course, mischief! 🦴
