Congratulations are also in order for another of our newest Aachen Dutch Shepherd owner, Kathy and Don G. of Illinois! Kathy wants a buddy to help her with farm chores, learn to herd the goats, chickens. Kathy's husband is retired K9 LE, so they know good dogs! She'll be here Wednesday to pick her girl up!

Current developments in Austrian legislation are threatening our tradition and passion. There is more at stake than just a sport - the welfare of our dogs and a piece of culture are at stake.

Aachens’s Titan earned his FH1 today, with a score of 92. What an experience it has been with Titan, coming from 4 years ago where he wouldn’t track or step off the track to urinate on anything taller than the vegetation he was tracking in, to earning his FH1 title. I can’t thank my club, Mid Iowa Working Dogs Club enough for all of the help and support over the last 6 years with Titan. All of you have been instrumental to Titan’s success. A special thank you to Joe Stuetelberg and Brad Stout for all of the help, guidance and sometimes kicking me in the butt over the years. Thanks to Brad and Mohamed Mohamed for all of the cross tracks and help on Saturdays over the summer. Thank you L.a. Gibbs for all of the tracks and cross tracks on Sundays. All of you have helped Titan and me this summer. Thank you Keely from Aachen Dutch Shepherds for this wonderful boy. He has taught me so much as my first dog to compete in Schutzhund with.

Morning morning! Already at the cargo facility to check in (2-1/2 hour drive) to fly with a youngster Dutch to personally deliver her to our repeat purchasing Navy Seal owner Sean for his wife Donna's dog! Sean drove out to our home this past January for his Dutchie.

We are traveling in style, FIRST CLASS, compliments of Sean and Donna! I could probably get real used to that, even with the early get up time!!

A puppy named NALA!

Going through old emails received and ran across this one from 2018. LOVE the name NALA, I remember our grandsons loving LionKing as well-- I used to be able to sing some of the songs!

Our puppy arrived last evening. She's a beauty and everyone is thrilled to have her. My granddaughter picked out the name Nala after one of her favorite characters in The Lion King.

Nala is doing great and has been a wonderful addition to our family.

Thanks for making this as easy as possible to bring Nala into our home.

Can't believe it's already been 5 years since this placement, hadn't heard anything more from them since, may just have to drop them an email or phone call to check in! Hope their email or phone number hasn't changed since, I know mine is still the same here, address and phone for 31 years now!

So if any of my owners, or even non owners, need help or advice with their dog, and it doesn't have to be a Dutch either or only, or just one of ours, as we are here to help and rehome, if necessary, all dogs, as best we can.

We recently helped rehome a Dutchx for a now friend in California, just was called the other day by a guy in Yukon OK that has a stray Dutch looking dog hanging around his property, (we're working on that currently), and assist with the local Noble rescue for captures, housing, rehoming. Currently have a GORGEOUS Australian Shepherdx that was dumped out and we picked up. Pictures available!

We will be applying for a 501c once plans are finalized.

Just received recently this "pupdate!" This from the gal from Holland, that has dual citizenship. She told me she thought she'd have to get a Dutch pup from Europe on one of her trips home to see her folks and family, AND THEN SHE SAID SHE FOUND US, so didn't have to! This is the puppy we called Lambchop when she was here!

Had our first training session today!!!
Shaun said that you could not have paired me up with a better pup !!! Her disposition is fantastic for what I want to do with her.
Lol... He really likes her!!
Session went great,he was impressed with how quick she learns (even for a Dutchie)
Looking forward to more sessions... going camping in a couple weeks so that will be a new adventure for her!!!
In the meantime we are going lots of places and lots of hikes(walks)
