We had a good run, the human and I. It certainly lasted longer than any of her human-human relationships, but who is counting? Oh, right, she counted, and always told me (and Moose, may his annoying butt rest in peace) that dogs are definitely better than people. She isn't wrong about that. She cried a lot yesterday when we had our goodbye and I let her hold me to the very end 'cuz I'm cool like that. I dunno who will take care of her now, though. She might have to make some more human friends.

Tonight, the human put me on the bed and then she said something about downstairs and took off. When she came back, I was sooo comfortable and happy and then she got on me about it being her side of the bed or something dumb like that. Whatever.

My cousin Missy Meli Ex sent my human a Mother's Day card with my name on it and now the human thinks I am the best and most amazing dog ever. Well, I am, but don't tell her I don't have a way to send cards on my own.

Today is some sort of day that humans get all weird and goofy about. Somehow, the human received a card from me. So funny. I'm a hero today and have no idea how it even happened.

These winter naps on the couch are pretty awesome. Pretty soon it will be time for bed, and that is also awesome.

It's cold out and the ground feels different. The human puts something on me that isn't a sweater and makes noise when I walk. So weird.

A long time ago, there was an overnight play date with Moose. Mostly it was the three of us laying on the couch, but when the human got up, we would follow her everywhere. Even the bathroom. Such a good time. It's different without Moose now.
