I said goodbye to my lovely workhorse, Lady Marmalade today. Unfortunately she was getting a bit long in the tooth, and due for retirement. I’m a little sad to see her go.
She has however, been replaced with a newer, shinier, bluer, model ( yet to be named). The new girl starts work this Monday.
I think the dogs are going to love it, and me too!

I am so very humbled by the kindness & generosity of my lovely clients. Thankyou all for your thoughtful gifts this Christmas, it truly warms my cockles. I’m saving the pleasure of opening them for the big day.

HOT WEATHER INFORMATION

We are having some beautiful weather this week but, unfortunately, it poses some dangers to our dogs.

With this in mind, I have cancelled the afternoon walk tomorrow. I shall also be starting extra early to get all dogs home before it’s too hot.

There are likely to be more changes after tomorrow if the hot weather continues. The relevant clients will be contacted & notified of any adjustments.

I am keeping my eye on the forecast and taking it day by day. It’s not ideal, but the wellbeing of my pack comes first.

Please be mindful when walking your own dogs this summer. Try to keep walks to mornings or late evenings, carry water for you and your dog, keep to shady areas & off of pavements where possible.

There are also lots of cooling products on the market to keep our pooches cool. They are well worth the investment.

No dog dies from missing a walk, but heatstroke can be a killer for our pets.
Please be mindful of the hot temperatures.

There’s such a difference when the whole pack is the same breed. It’s so interesting watching their subtle communication. They completely understand each other, and are all equally bonkers!

HOT WEATHER UPDATE:

Due to extreme temperatures, we have cancelled AlLL walks tomorrow.
We apologise for any inconvenience this causes, but we refuse to risk any of our pack members in such extreme weather conditions. It is predicted to be 38 degrees tomorrow, reaching 25 by 7 am!
Please take the upmost care of yourselves & your pets in this weather. Your dog will not suffer missing it’s walks for the day, but it will going out in such high temperatures.

We are all aware it’s very hot, so we were out super early for just one pack walk today. All dogs hosed off, cool coats on, walked and returned by 9.30 this morning. Will be doing the same tomorrow.
It is now too hot for our lovely pooches, so won’t be out again until at least 9 o’clock tonight. We strongly advise you keep your woofers in until then.

HOT WEATHER ANNOUNCEMENT:

As Temperatures are so high this week, we have cancelled ALL afternoon walks.
We will only be carrying out a morning group walk daily. This we shall start earlier than usual, and will only be walking in wooded areas, carrying water at all times.

We apologise for any inconvenience, but it would be irresponsible for us to take any risks with your dogs.

We will continue to contact all clients that have afternoon bookings to either bank or move your dogs walk.

Thankyou for your understanding and patience.
Please use caution walking your own dogs in the summertime. Heatstroke is a killer.

Please be mindful today not to walk your dogs after 10 am , carry drinking water for your dog and yourself, keep in shady areas such as woods, take your dog to water if possible and keep them off pavements.
No dog ever died from not getting a walk, but plenty do after extreme heat exposure, keep your woofers safe folks.

With very heavy hearts, we said goodbye to our beautiful Indie last week.
A spirited, loving, cheeky, sweet, sweet girl. She will be so very sadly missed by her family, and leaves behind her housemate Harry.
Indie had been with us for the last three years, she was one of our first clients, in that time we formed a close bond. She had an extra special place in Deni’s heart.
We offer our condolences to her owner Trisha, who has had Indie by her side for 12 years. So sorry for your loss.
