This starts off with the dog walking easy, and running out of that behavior at a certain time. You have to have a really good "easy" behavior before you can train this one. Well this has taken a lot of time, and we still have a lot more videos to get out, but this is from our Dog Training For Film and TV Course from Maryland last month. Bryan Renfro and I had such a blast teaching some of the most important behaviors that are essential for getting your dog to work in film and TV. This first is a series of the "go to/ go with behavior". It is absolutely essential that your dog has this behavior down and finished. It is teaching the dog to be sent to an actor 20-30 feet away, and then walking with them by their side. These dogs played to the actor great.. especially on that turn, and remember that what you are seeing is only about 3 days of training. Think about how these dogs are going to be with 3-6 months of training and all the increased distance and control and variations. This is the second video.
