Lucy the Kid Lucy the Kid - the orphan Pygmy goat that adopted the Coleman family Lucy was born on February 15th, 2015 as the smallest and last of a set of triplets.

She was abandoned at birth and found by our children shortly afterwards. She was unresponsive and almost frozen to death, but miraculously we were able to revive her. Too small to live alone in the unheated barn in wintry Alberta, she's now a house guest until spring arrives and she's strong enough to return to life as a goat. Our goal for her is to be re-introduced to our small Pygmy herd so that

she can live a goat's life, however because she has imprinted on us, and is bonded closely with us, we are preparing for life with Lucy in the event she does not return to the herd.
