Cadee P's first diapering experience. She was a teensy bit dramatic but overall a champ. Needs to grow into it a little more though before we can call it a full success. Stay tuned for her matching dress and pantaloons debut!

We have not forgotten about you our faithful fans! It has been a whirlwind of a season that came and went before we could even catch our breath. We will try to catch up soon with some new excitements from the farm. In the meantime, here are some smiles from our miles this season. Enjoy them as much as we did! Well it is hard to believe this but we have a couple dates available on our Fall calendar still! BOOK NOW for the following dates: SEPT 16-17, OCT 21-22, OCT 28-29, 2023. We are also pre-booking for 2024 now so if you already have your dates, get with us now to reserve before someone else grabs your dates. :-) A contract and booking fee guarantees your dates on our calendar.

Come see us starting Weds Aug 16th through Aug 19th, 2023 at the Bonner County Fairgrounds to make some Me-Moo-ries! Our guest of honor Budda the mini Zebu will be on hand to help you enjoy all things fair this week. Ooooh and aaaawe over these teenie tiny little lavender Old English Bantam baby chicks born this week on the farm. So cute! Thank you to Rylie, the chicken whisperer, Canfield, for allowing us to purchase some of her quality stock last year to make these chicks possible. Great stock make for great babies! Coming to select zoo's this season.

We are so thankful for the generosity of our Volunteers! Today we were blessed with a family of six who spent time on the farm helping get the animals all cleaned up and ready for their next event. Baby fed. ✅️ Goats bathed. ✅️ Chicks and bunnies held. ✅️ Mini-horse, llama, and mini-donkey fed grass and wild "flowers." ✅️. All facilitated by Lead Destanee Chudy . Great job everyone!

It is hiring time....we are recruiting for seasonal positions with the zoo. New higher starting wages this year. Those over 16 years old with a drivers license or experience are welcome to apply for a starting wage of $10/hr. Younger applicants may apply for an internship. Hard work in all weather conditions. Cleaning animal pens, washing animals, to greeting customers with a smile and education about the animals in our care, to hauling equipment. Must be able to carry 60 pounds short distances. We like to have fun yet respect the hard work and seriousness of the job to be completed as well. Most work is in the Cda and Sandpoint areas with limited out of town work available to those who wish to go on the occasional field trip. :-)

It's that time of year again...ADDING staff to the seasonal PETTING ZOO! Hard working, fun, drug-free work environment. Must do well with people, animals, and grunt work. :-) We do everything from cleaning nasty animal pens, to bathing animals, and greeting customers with a smile. We like to have fun yet take the tasks seriously to be sure our animals remain healthy and our guests have a terrific time learning about the animals in our care. New starting pay is $10/hour for those over 16 with a drivers license or animal experience. Will consider younger workers for interns, practicums, and on-the-job experience.

Petting Zoo Attendants and Set Up Crews Needed for 2023 Season. Multiple positions:
1. Set-up and Take-down crews help get ready for, or take down from, the events but do not stay and work the actual event itself.
2. Farm chore/clean-up. Help with general farm chores like cleaning up after the animals as well as deep cleaning fencing and supplies in between events.
3. Petting Zoo Attendants. Assists with above in addition to attending to guests and animals throughout event petting zoos.
Training provided on the job. Additionally, animal species specific educational workshops also offered.
Those who are quick learners, not afraid to get their hands dirty & work hard and can lift 60 pounds should consider inquiring.
Job Location and meet-ups are in Cocolalla, Idaho. Seasonal position working mostly weekends and throughout the summer
and fall. Fun job for fun people.

Lilac Tort Buck looking for YOU! Not a beginner type breed as they require lots of maintenance. Super sweet and socialized since birth having been raised in our petting zoo. Great traveler too as he just took a trip with me to a convention and was a hit! Wool breed will make you sweaters too. :0)
