🍄 CANCER HATES MUSHROOMS 🐾

This was the conclusion of Pennsylvania State University researchers who analyzed mushroom consumption on cancer risk, involving 19,500 patients.

The subjects with the highest mushroom consumption - (2/3 of an ounce of mushrooms daily) - had a 45% lower risk of developing cancer.

Another study by Bastyr University, conducted on a group of dogs with an aggressive cancer (hemangiosarcoma), found that feeding a Turkey Tail mushroom supplement extended lifespan by over 50%! While more research needs to be done on mushrooms, these findings are incredibly exciting for dog lovers!

Sadly, most of us who’ve had dogs have been touched by evil C-word.

CANCER KILLS HALF OF ALL DOGS. This fact is absolutely stunning and in recent years the trend is only getting worse.

When I began reading the research around mushrooms and cancer, I started giving my 13 year old husky a mushroom supplement daily. She lived and thrived until age 18, and while I can’t prove the supplement extended her lifespan, I believe it had a major impact. We certainly cannot yet say that mushrooms treat cancer, but there is sufficient evidence to say they greatly support the immune system of both dogs and humans.

Teach your dogs to be happy with you and ignore other dogs while out working, walking and in public. Polite, well behaved dogs are a joy to be around.

We do not run up to every stranger we see, flap our arms around, hug them, yell in their face and expect them to be our new bestie....in fact, most of us would not tolerate that at all and would try to either get away from the person or lash out....so...it should come as no surprise that your dog behaves the same when way rushed upon.

Walk by, keep moving and remember...it is always OK to say NO to an interaction.

Take all the pictures & videos you can one night you’ll be laying in bed & that’s all you’ll have of them I’ve watched so many videos of Gypsy & I’ve cried some but also smiled while watching her be silly & I’m so glad I decided to get Gypsys paw print a couple years ago

Breaking my heart to write this lost a piece of my heart today Gypsy is greatly missed house will not be the same without her just shy of her 10 year birthday next month Gypsy traveled all over with me saw many parts of Texas, then Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Arkansas, Indiana . She attended many barrel races & loved to run through the pasture & swim in the pond Gypsy was an AMAZING momma not just to her puppies she raised 2 kittens & even kept several baby possums warm one night until we could get them to a rescue her last kitten to claim was an orange kitten named Ace they would play every night on the bed & would sleep together I can’t believe she’s gone my heart is just shattered but I know she lived a full life saw many things & was spoiled rotten she slept with me every night & would roll around on her back growling every night before falling asleep she had the best personality
