Our Hotel Transylvania puppies are 4 weeks old and getting cuter by the day!!
These are definitely some low drive puppies as you can probably tell from all the sleeping puppy pictures we got this week! Although there are some that are a little higher energy and more playful most seem to enjoy the lazier, lounging side of life best!
We are a couple of days behind on this update as we have had so many visitors this last weekend and the puppies had so much fun meeting everyone and exploring the big playroom!
We are starting them on crate training and working through the first steps of weaning now. Their first night without Mama Kessie went great and they are using their litter box fabulously for their age! They aren’t quite good enough at walking yet for us to introduce them to going potty outside but we have no doubts when that time comes they will catch on super quickly!
We still have 3 little boys searching for their forever families for the holidays! If you know of anyone looking for a wonderful, well bred and well raised Australian Shepherd puppy please send them our way!
Families receive weekly updates! Our Hotel Transylvania babies are 3 weeks old now! Almost a month has gone by already and we've been soaking up all the love and cuddles we can get!
They are seriously growing like weeds - we moved everyone out to the nursery this last week and they are absolutely loving all of the space and new areas to explore! This is a chubby, chunky litter of puppies!
We introduced them to a litter box which will aide us in getting them on the path of potty training even quicker than normal! We have seen a ton of success since implementing this into our program and it helps us get them into good habits before they are even out of the whelping box area!
Their eyes and ears are all fully open however they aren't fully functioning yet. They are getting better and better at walking and since their teeth are starting to grow in we will be introducing them to some semi-solid foods this coming week!
We only have 3 little boys still searching for loving families! Murray, Griffin and Pilot are waiting to meet someone special - visitation opens on Sunday, December 3rd if you'd like to schedule a time to come get some puppy playtime in with them and all the littles!

These little loves are 2 weeks old!!
We have just a few left so if you’re looking to add one of the most loyal and lovable family companions for the holidays get into touch with us today!!
We are so surprised by how mobile these babies are! They eyes are just starting to peek open at the corners and they are already toddling around in their whelping box!
Puppies had their first partial baths (their bodies are still learning how to moderate their own temperatures so we don’t like to risk their well being by getting them soaked through) and their first nail clips!
They love to be handled and played with! Most are enjoying their first experiences with belly rubs and cuddles!

Christmas puppies!!
Who wants to have a holiday that you'll remember for a lifetime?!? They will be ready for their new families shortly after the holidays (Release date is December 31st 2023)!
We can't believe how chunky these little babies are already! How adorable and sweet they all are! We can't wait for their eyes and ears to begin opening up so we can start teaching them about this big world around them!
Out of AKC registered, fully health tested (hips/eyes OFA-ed and blood panels drawn) parents who serve as therapy dogs on our volunteer team within our local community.
These puppies are from our non-working line breeding program - bred to display lower energy, reduced drive, a calmer nature and lower reactivity when compared to their working line bred cousins. Quiet, friendly, gentle, social and outgoing are characteristics that all of our puppies display! All of our adult dogs live in our home as members of our family and we keep them through retirement.
Onsite visitation opens on December 3rd 2023 when puppies are 4 weeks old. Puppies go home fully crate trained, fully litter trained and well started on both potty training and basic obedience. Puppies are raised indoors and handled multiple times everyday. Well socialized with other dogs, exposed to interactions with cats/bunnies, gently accustomed to 'scary' sounds (like thunderstorms and fireworks to reduce chances of sensitivity or anxiety as adults), vehicle travel, household noises, nail clips/grooming and children. They are kept up to date on all age appropriate vet care and immunizations.
Once a deposit is placed families receive weekly photo, video and informational updates!
Lifetime breeder support, a generous puppy care package, and a bag of the high quality food we get them used to goes home with every puppy! Lifetime pet insurance, a crate and microchipping can be included as well!

We are so very excited to announce the arrival of Kessie and Clayton's little ones! Although we had a movies that start with 'B' theme going for 2023 we decided to break the streak in light of their interesting mode of arrival...
We had a mini-family vacation scheduled to take the kids to the rodeo over this last weekend and it fell too close to comfort for us to leave Kessie behind as she was due on Monday. Luckily, we had made reservations at a pet friendly resort so we loaded her up along with all of our whelping supplies (just in case) and ventured off for a quick get away. She is such a wonderful traveler and a joy to have with us - we got so many compliments on how pretty she was, her friendly/quiet temperament and her awesome behavior - no one even commented on the fact she was a little chunky! She did amazing in the hotel room by herself both nights we were gone enjoying the bull riding events.
In the first minutes of Sunday morning her babies started to arrive (the first one was at 12:13am) - so while the world, the hotel (and the rest of our family) slept on - Kessie and I welcomed their adorable little cries into the world one by one. Although she was a bit confused and a lot shocked at first she quickly caught on to her new role as "Mom" and hasn't hardly left them since.
We thought this movie title was fitting - helping to ensure we never forget that these snuggle butts came into the world in a hotel (first time we've ever done that lol!).

We are so very excited to announce that Clayton and Kessie are expecting their very first litter of puppies on November 6th 2023!
After 3 failed attempts at AI we have confirmed via an X-ray performed this morning that we can expect at least 7 little fluffy bundles of love will be meeting us very soon!
We still have room on our waiting list as (due to our previous AI failures we didn’t want to unnecessarily get anyone’s hopes up) we did not advertise this litter at all.
There is the genetic potential for any coat color/pattern variation with a high chance for one, two or marbled blue eyes in the resulting puppies. Clayton and Kessie are two of our most sweetest and cuddly Aussies so we are ecstatic to see what amazing temperaments they share with their babies!!

As much as it saddens us we knew that it was bound to happen sooner or later - after almost a decade of starting our program we had a family surrender their puppy back to us for the first time as personal reasons arose and they are no longer able to care for him.
Everyone meet Cooper!!
He was born 1/6/2019 and was previously known as ‘Pongo’ out of our 101 Dalmatians Litter from Hiro and Alyce! He will be 5 years old at the beginning of 2024.
In the time we’ve had him here he has already begun to settle in a little more every day which makes us very happy as we were worried about how he would handle the change and trauma of his family leaving - we are glad to report that he’s doing amazing and taking it all in stride! We weren’t sure what kind of training he would need before being ready for adoption by a new family but the things he needs work on are extremely mild and we would love to see him happily placed before he begins getting too attached to us.
He is a happy and fun boy to have around!! We wanted to take some time to get to know him so that we would be able to match him with a perfect, new family! If anyone is looking to add a new addition to their family but without the bother and work of a young puppy Cooper may be the one for you!!
He is fully house trained, crate trained and pretty good with obedience things!! He is eager to learn and please (we’ve had to work with him on not getting on the furniture as our Aussies aren’t allowed on the couches in our home)! He is neutered and up to date on all of his vaccinations, flea/tick and rabies until June 2024. He has blended seamlessly into our pack and gets along with everyone - the boys, the girls, the big ones, the small ones, the lazy ones and the playful ones! He just seems to go with the flow on whatever we’re doing. He’s awesome off leash and listens very well when we call him back. He needs some work on his leash manners (he had none upon arrival) but has made huge improvement already in just the half week we’ve had him here with us. I would be more than happy to show his new family how to continue working with him on how to walk nicely on a loose leash. He doesn’t mind the cows, the horses, the pigs or the cats although he is curious about the chickens he hasn’t shown more interest than looking so far. He absolutely adores the kids - he wants to be loved on constantly and really enjoys belly rubs! He crates on command and is quiet and content when kenneled. He will need to be either given more exercise or put on a diet as he is a little overweight but very manageable. So far we can’t find anything bad to say about him! ❤️

We wanted to thank everyone who took the time to come out and join the reunion yesterday!! It was so amazing to see everyone, witness how big and beautiful all of our past babies have gotten, grab some photos and enjoy all the conversation and community with everyone!

We never did get a final head count as we were just too busy enjoying the time with all the (now big) littles!

These little squeaks are 6 weeks old already!!
We can’t believe we only have 2 weeks until they are ready to go home with their families!
Puppies did awesome for Stage 1 of their crate training and are moving into Stage 2 tonight! All puppies will start sharing one big crate at night.
Puppy walks are going really smoothly! Puppies are finally getting the hang of paying attention to where we’re at and keeping up with us a we move along!
They got their second dose of wormer today and got to sit up on the grooming table for a few minutes while we worked on nail clips and brushing! They are fully weaned now and no longer drink milk or get their kibble softened.
They are so much fun to play and interact with!! The kids are soaking up all of the cuddles, naps and fuzzy butts that they can!
Most of the puppies are beginning to recognize their names and understand how to ‘sit’ on command. We did a special session working on the stairs with them today and they all worked so hard to overcome their fear of gravity!
Such a great, beautiful batch of puppies!

All of the cutest babies are 5 weeks old today!! It always amazes me how fast it all goes! Over halfway through our time with them!
Our first official puppy walk was this morning and they did pretty well! A couple of times there were some that lost track of where we went and tried to turn back but some vocal encouragement and catching their attention always works pretty good to keep them coming forward (and it’s much easier than carrying their fluffy butts up that big hill)! It’s amazing how fast they pick it up after some practice!
We start Stage 1 crate training tonight and no more softened puppy food for these babies!!
It’s so awesome to see how much fun the kids have with them at this age! They are just so curious and inquisitive about everything! Their little minds are so eager to learn all they can and all the teeny differences in their personalities begin to emerg slowly!!
The naughty award goes to Indy today who made his sister Reba have a pouting session. 😂😂 The adorable award goes to Fergus who we swear only ever wants to nap!! 😂

Puppies are 4 weeks old now and are becoming so vocal and outgoing!
Babies have graduated out of the whelping box and into the nursery so they got introduced to crate training this week! They are doing really great with their litter training and we’ve started going outside for potty breaks multiple times throughout the day!
They are sleeping alone now (without Mama Evie) and get to see her a couple of times throughout the day.
Martin is now pending!!
Fergus is still available and waiting for his people to find him! He does have his full tail still intact.

Our Brave litter is 2 weeks old and they are starting to get mobile! Eyes and ears are slowly coming open!
Babies will be graduating into the nursery this week and being introduced to the litter box once eyes and ears are completely opened up!
Evie is doing such a great job with these littles! All of them are such chunky monkeys!

We are so very excited to announce our Evie and Hiro 2023 litter!
They were born last Monday afternoon so they are officially a week old!
What a gorgeous litter of puppies and our favorite size (6!). There is so much color in this batch we could hardly believe it!! We have absolutely no doubts that the personalities on these puppies will be just as gorgeous as their coats!
Great job once again to this set of parents!!

All of our Brother Bear puppies are at home with their forever families!!
Once again we were so very blessed to work with such amazing families for each and every one of our little babies! We’ve heard nothing but wonderful feedback from everyone and our pups are certainly making us so proud! We are always incredibly humbled and grateful that all of the time, effort and love we dedicate to our puppies does not go unnoticed or unappreciated!

7 weeks old!!! We only have one more week with these babies! Goodness gracious!!
It was so hot today that we decided to get the pool out for the littles! It was release day for our Bolt litter puppies so we had lots of visitors out but none for the Aussie pups so we thought it would be a great time to let them play in the water!
We have been taking longer walks with them now that they are older and they are all doing great keeping up and paying attention to us.
We had to start Stage 3 of crate training earlier for this group than is normal (someone wasn’t doing well holding it through the night so the only way we could figure out who was struggling was to separate them all into their own crates a few nights ago). The good news is the pup having a harder time get special attention now to ensure he’s using the facilities before settling into bed for the night so his nights have been successful since!
What an awesome batch of pups Dani and Clayton gave us this year! We are so excited for all of our wonderful families that are lucky to have one joining their ranks!
‘Rutt’ is our last one available and still searching for his forever family, we have had some interest in him but so far no one serious enough to want to come meet him (which is good for them as he is sure to steal your heart!)! Please contact us if you want to come spend some time with him to see if it’s a good match! He is middle to low rank, very mellow but has an adventurous spirit and curious nature! He would love a home with some kids to run around and play with or an adult who is wanting a hiking, swimming or camping partner!

6 weeks already with our Brother Bear babies!!
Crate training, obedience training and potty training oh my!!!
Exhausted is an understatement but my goodness how much fun we have with them!!
These are just the sweetest little batch of puppies! All are extremely smart and pick up on things very quickly, some are easier to focus than others but it’s always hard when there are so many new sights, sounds, smells and strangers around! Every day is a brand new adventure with these guys and they take every challenge with curiosity and inquisitiveness!
This week we are working mostly on our morning and afternoon puppy walks as well as learning our names and the ‘sit’ command.
They will move into Stage 2 of crate training tonight and we have high hopes they will do great!! All of these littles are doing such a great job with potty training and use their litter box 100% consistently when we have them indoors during the day!
We are so proud of all they have learned so far and we know they will continue to impress us over the course of the next two weeks!

Busy, busy, busy babies at 5 weeks old!!
We have started our puppy walks outside and these littles are doing great!! They pay attention and do pretty good keeping up with us.
We are spending so much time outside with them and they love exploring and playing in the sunshine!!
They will see Dr Beth on the 30th for shots, microchips, comprehensive exams and health certificates!
They have been just soaking up love from all the visitors we’ve had this week!!
Obedience training will start this week and Stage 1 of crate training! These little ones are almost weaned now!

Our Brother Bear babies are 4 weeks old and are now approaching our favorite age!!
They develop and learn so much over the course of the next couple of weeks and we’re just soaking it all up!
We’ve got them started on potty and crate training so they’ve been having some outdoor adventures with us daily! Haven’t started our puppy walks yet but that will come soon and they’ve gotten their first tastes of solid food! Mama Dani still enjoys time with them a few times throughout the day but for the most part she minds her distance.
These babies are so cute and cuddly we spend about every waking minute down in the nursery with them. They are so entertaining to watch as they explore and learn about the world around them!
We have three handsome boys left searching for their forever families so if you or someone you know is looking for the most amazing adventure partner or family companion get into touch with us!

It’s almost 11:30 at night but we finally got all the little ones tucked into bed for the night! Look at all these little cuddle butts! We are having so much fun with them! Please excuse the mess Mabel the mama cat made finding a spot for her babies...they sure are cozy though so we had to show them in the video as well! ❤️Such sweet little babies!

Finally ---- we have found time to sit down and officially introduce Clayton and Dani's litter, our Brother Bear puppies! We thought it was very appropriate movie to choose with all the boys in the litter!
We can't believe these chunks are already 2 weeks old! Where has the time gone?!? What a beautiful batch of babies they have gifted us with once again! Eyes aren't quite open yet but we expect they will be very soon - we can't wait to help them learn and interact with the world around them! Until then, we will be content with the cuddles, snuggles and nuzzles!

Remember when we announced that we had some exciting news at the beginning of April? Well we are finally ready to make it official - as many of you know Hiro will be retiring this year - his future replacement is now old enough to come home to us!
Everyone please help us in welcoming our new, up and coming stud who will hopefully begin contributing to the program starting in 2025…
AKC’s Flatlands Quolt’s Gotta Little Magic!
So far Quolt is taking everything in stride, meeting the pack was a little intimidating for him but he quickly relaxed and began getting to know everyone! Chantelle really enjoyed the drive home with him where she got in some one-on-one cuddle and bonding time before she had to start sharing him with the kids! Can’t wait to start working with this cutie pie!! ❤️

Clayton and Dani’s 2023 litter has arrived!!
All puppies are doing so well and we can’t believe how much they have grown in just a day!! Dani is so very proud of them and gives us the biggest wags whenever we spend some time visiting with them!
The males won this round and we still have some that will be searching for their families! We have both blacks and reds to choose from, all male and all tricolors!
If your family has been thinking about adding a new member to your household this summer get into touch with us to get a sneak peak of the few we have left before we list them!
Extremely high possibility of one or two blue eyes in these ones so if you aren’t a fan of the blue eyes it may be best to wait until our next litter that should be due towards the end of June/early July. ❤️

We can’t believe that it’s been 6 weeks since most of our Last Dragon babies went home with their families!!
So far we’ve been hearing all wonderful things about our littles and they are making us so very proud!! We always love hearing from their families!!
Little Baxter just left with his family last week so after a busy weekend we are finally able to steal some time to get these pictures of all our happy pups with their parents posted for everyone’s enjoyment!!
We get to enjoy a few weeks rest before we will have new arrivals coming in April!! ❤️

We are running just a couple of days behind on this post but life has been crazy trying to keep up with all of these babies!
Our 'Last Dragon' littles are 7 weeks old (or were, on Sunday, now they are a little older then that).
We are preparing ourselves to say 'See You Later' to this busy batch of littles! All of our puppies can 'sit' and 'down' when asked, most recognize their names and will also 'go potty' outside when they are supposed to! We are working on 'kennel' and learning to follow on our puppy walks and treat guides.
Much of our day is spent down in the nursery playing and interacting with them!
They are doing just awesome in their individual crates at night and are keeping their daytime play area/yard nice and tidy which we love to see (as it saves us time from cleaning and more time for playing and cuddling!).
They are all so smart and playful! Baxter is still our teeny boy but gets right in there wrestling and talking! Sorellina has an adventurers heart and we have to keep a special eye on her during our walks outside! If there is trouble, you can bet our little Raya is involved in one way or another - she loves to spend her free time starting arguments and then, often finishing them. Forrest may be large but he is the biggest baby of all of them, he's a sensitive boy to be sure. Sky is our inquisitive, quiet girl - she loves to cuddle up on someones lap and judge everyone. Gracy can be trusted to be the one hunting around for any food bits and particles that maybe someone dropped...her belly provides evidence of her hobbies. Murphy is the clown of this batch - in need of a smile? Just watch him while he plays - boisterous, entertaining and clumsy he will be sure to squeeze a smile or laugh out of even the most surly of spectators. Harley is the biggest sweetheart of them all - always wanting to be right next to people, she enjoys playing more one on one than with the group as a whole and pays close attention to her surroundings.
We can't hardly believe these little ones head to their new homes this coming weekend! It always goes so fast!

Our The Last Dragon puppies are 6 weeks old today!
They got another dose of wormer this morning and are getting really great about going outside to use the restroom! Now that their puppy fur has grown in thicker and longer it doesn’t feel so cold out there!
Most puppies can now ’sit’ when asked as we work them one on one every day with their obedience training.
We are moving through the weaning process and no longer soften their food for them. They get to be with Mama Evie for about 5 minutes once a day.
Stage 2 of crate training starts tonight for these babies!
We had another busy weekend full of lots of fun visitors!! We are so blessed to work with such wonderful families!
