Please vote for my new friend. Rascal is super sweet and I have met him in person! He has cerebellar hypoplasia, a neurological disorder which causes the brain to remain immature. It is sometimes referred to as wobbly cat. You can vote free through Facebook. 💞

Rascal was found scared and alone abandoned at storage facility. He was diagnosed with cerebellar hypoplasia but it doesn’t slow him down!

Buddy and Rosie went for their vet check today. So much to do! Buddy is donning his new GPS collar. He is a sneaky little bu**er. Rosie is in the computer station hiding. Fingers crossed the USDA will approve their health certificate. Italy 🇮🇹

Hello everyone, this is a NEW form of abandonment, dumping a pet or “temporary foster” that is so worth repeating. I am sure it’s happening in other states not just Florida. The cat picture is my Buddy and just for attention. He is mine for life and I would never give him up just like all the other animals I’ve had in my life. I will make this post SHARABLE!

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS IN FLORIDA. IT IS A FORM OF DUMPING A PET. IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME! People ask for a temporary foster or foster and never come get them. 😡

This cat was given to me with the intent that it would be a temporary placement. However, the owner declined to return for him and he was left with me. Unfortunately I am not able to keep him, as I have a housing agreement that does not allow for more than 2 pets. I have been trying to rehome for more than 1 year.
I am admittedly not a cat person, and it would be best for Jack to be in a home where he will be cherished. Any help within finding him the right home would be greatly appreciated. I do not want to have to leave him with a shelter, because I do know that he will be euthanized. But I cannot continue to risk my housing agreement for a pet that isn’t mine.

Good with small dogs, older children, and adults
Not a skittish cat. He very much enjoys being with people, and likes to stay out and snuggle. Fantastic lap cat
He does have beginning stage kidney disease that has been completely controlled with diet. He has had recent bloodwork and his levels had improved
UTD on shots

Hooded litter box
Automatic feeder
Months worth of wet and dry prescription kidney food
Located in Fort Myers, Florida. Will travel up to 1.5 hours for the right home.
