I forgot how big megaeras get! This girl is such a scaredy-cat, complete opposite of my old pair Tsubasa and Scyther. I unfortunately lost her sister to an mismolt (chose the worst spot to start from stay it looked like) while I was out of state. But glad this one managed to molt just fine.

New slings!!! Ending a long hiatus with the introduction of 4 Phidippus Regius, Regal Jumping Spider, slings ♡♡♡
I highly recommend slings-n-things from Ebay. The slings came came very fast, very well packaged, and well fed ♡. The enclosures are absolutely adorable too, though I'm probably going to give them another molt before I rehome them.

Well against all odds, incubator temp all over the place, a switch to a thrown together diy incubator (due to early arrival of jumbo eggs and to clean out a rotten egg 🤢), loss of power during lockdown that caused the the temp to drop to the 60's for at least 6 hrs, this lil pearl hatched last night. I honestly did not have very high hopes for a hatch at all. So this little guy is a little miracle.

Couple days late to post, but Jumbo variety quail from in the incubator! Accidentally ruined my quail turner in a moment of mom brain so unfortunately had to use my chicken egg one. But I'm excited to hopefully get another great hatch from them 🤩

It's been a while since my last chick update!!
*don't mind the floor they haven't moved outside yet so still in our pet/needs work room* Unfortunately of the three I ended up with two roosters 😢 which aren't allowed in city limits. Bok Choy's, the silken serama roo (first two pictures), crow so far is no louder then a quail, so hopefully i can get away with keeping him. My favorite Brahma is unfortunately big old handsome roo, towering over his hatchmates (3rd 4th pics). And my other Brahma is thankfully a hen. She wasn't as friendly in the beginning, even though she got extra love after hatching due to being a little weaker, but she's starting to come around. (Last picture, couldn't take more due to children lol)

T minus 6 days until hatch day (though I have a feeling they will be popping sooner ❤) I only plan on keeping a fee, so all others of this hatch will be available, 2 a chick straight run+ 1 per week old starting af two weeks (2 week olds being 3 ect.)

*local only update*
Giving my incubator a few day break, then loading up with quail eggs! This will be from my color mix, producing mainly grau fee and tuxes, with a possible pearl and falb fee. 35 will be set and those hatched successfully will be available to those interested.

2 brahmas and one serama hatched! And they are so adorable, but omg just huge compared to the quail!
