Personalized, quality grooming in a loving environment is right here in West Point. My goal is to make each grooming session a positive experience for you and your pooch. Your pet will be the ONLY one in my care during grooming; therefore, he has all of my attention while in my care. Multiple pets can be groomed together only if they are from the same household. Cages, crates, and cage dryers are

NEVER used. (Actually, I do not even own any.) All baths include ear cleaning, nail trim, and 100% natural shampoo and conditioner that leaves your pooch smelling fresh and feeling ultra soft. I also use a massaging doggie bath mitt that loosens debris and shedding hair while providing a relaxing spa-like experience for your pooch. All haircuts are custom-created to suit your tastes and your dogs needs. If your pooch is the timid type, I will be sure to go slow and keep him calm and comfortable during the entire grooming experience. I have many years of experience working as a veterinary technician and shelter technician at a humane society. I have dealt with all types and all personalities of pets. To make the grooming experience positive for you (besides knowing that your pooch is in the best care!) I will pick up and drop off your pet at your home at no additional charge. I also try to keep my grooming charges very reasonable. Cost of grooming is based on the service requested, size of dog, and current coat condition. (Matted coats take much more time to groom.) This was Joey’s first week hanging out in the shop. All things considered, he is doing very well adjusting….but it was rough in the beginning. He does make a fuss now and then. There were no other dogs in the shop when I took this video, which is why his play pen is open. He realized that it was open just a moment after this video. Such a silly little boy. 💙

My puppy, Joey.
He is a 10 week old Chihuahua, weighing in at 1 pound 11 ounces of “hop and pop” energy. He bounces around like a baby kangaroo when he plays. But sweet and cuddly when not playing.

I have been working with dogs since 1992. That’s 31 years. I have worked as a technician in veterinary clinics and a humane society…where we were charged with putting down “unadoptable” and aggressive dogs. NOT. ONE. SINGLE. TIME….in 31 years…have I seen a pit bull euthanized for aggression. I have never even met an aggressive pit bull. Pit bulls are smart, very affectionate, and family oriented. The stereotype needs to end!!

Btw….did you know…..the most decorated military canine in history was a pit bull mix named Sergeant Stubby
