We love getting updates like this!

"Hi! I had the pleasure of adopting one of your oldest residents in December— Zeke.
Zeke is incredibly strong, loud, drools, chews everything he can find, was not potty trained— and I love him to pieces!!!!
My other two large SCRAPS dogs adopted at different times over my two years in Spokane love Zeke, as do I.
I know Zeke had been returned from a previous adoption. I know he was a favorite of your volunteers and vet techs so please let them know he has a very large fenced backyard that he digs in, rolls around in, and sprints back and forth in to happy exhaustion. He endlessly watches the deer and turkey that eat the corn on the other side of the back fence.
Zeke’s eyes are still red from his surgery but he seems to not be bothered.
Zeke has a forever home with this old woman and my other two forever loves and I can’t wait for drier weather so we can jog together."

Help! We are in need of *whelping collars*

The last few years, we've had a huge increase in mama dogs with full litters of puppies. Whelping collars are specifically made for growing puppies. They help us differentiate puppies within a litter so we can track their weight, health, and any concerns that arise. They're safe for puppies to wear and can be adjusted as the grow!

This mama has thirteen- yes THIRTEEN- puppies and they're growing like weeds 😍 We've also got a mama with 6 pups, a litter of 5, and a litter of 3. That's a LOT of puppies.

If you're unable to help financially, it still helps if you interact with this post. Like, comment, and share to boost visibility!

Below is a link to our wishlist. Items bought from the list are shipped directly to SCRAPS. ➡️➡️➡️ https://a.co/2m2oNop ⬅️⬅️⬅️

⭐ Over 2,550 animals adopted out in 2024 ⭐

🩷 600+ animals were reunited with their families.🩷

🐈 749 community cats were fixed and released as part of our TNR program 🐈

🙌 Over 520 animals were transferred out to our rescue partners 🙌

We could not make this happen without the tireless efforts of our staff and volunteers, our amazing rescue partners, and the caring people in our community! Happy New Year!

Our cat adoption room is nearly empty, except for some adorably crabby kitties! 🦀🐈‍⬛

Most of them are just stressed out here and will calm down in a home. They may or may not end up being lap cats, but they'll be much happier in a home.

Can you open your home to an adult cat that may not make the best first impression?

Check out Sayla's before and after pics! This little bean is a fighter! She arrived with a horrible upper respiratory infection and ringworm. She was treated on site for both and when she was healthy, she went in to have her bad eye removed. She's fixed and ready to go home!
