Feeling disappointed I wasn't able to be more involved in the gentling journey with this special girl but I am grateful to have been a bridge to get her to her new adopter and the opportunity she has ahead of her 💕

Didn't catch her actually loading , but he loaded up calm, quiet and easy 💕 such a brilliant mind

The baby survived her first vet trip 🥺 She got complimented by the Dr for being so great for her first time!

She was the best solo riding baby , didn't make a fuss the entire time 💜 She even stood tied quiet and patiently outside the trailer for a short time, then loaded right back up with ease

Because I have gotten soooooo many questions about this gal's COLOR: She is 💯 percent GRAY 😃 She will look just like her beautiful flea bit gray mama with age💜 I think she's going to look just like mama in other physical aspects as well 💕

SESSION #2

2nd Haltering

Leading halfway through the field like a seasoned horse 💜

2nd Tie session - little bit of sillyness but no major drama. She's picking up QUICKLY.

Leading back to the other side after tying: she was a little too anxious to head back so we worked on respect and space.

Sessions for babies are kept short/minimal- no overloading. I believe learning at this stage should be as stress free as possible and want to create a "willingness" instead of man handling/force. Cooperation with the tiniest amount of pressure is the goal 💕 With a quiet mind and intelligence this little gal is quick to learn

Had to reminisce with the first three photos of only being a few hours old to almost 6 months 💜 and today was officially her first day of training 🥺

First Haltering: As you can see, she was not pleased 😄

First tie session: Some drama, but she is quick to learn 💕

First leading session: All around the field

Another DG Mustang not disappointing! She may be the "easiest" weanling I've had the opportunity to work with. Also, I believe she's the largest foal so far, at this age , so I won't be a bit surprised if she makes it to every bit of 16 hands when she matures.
A hard one to let go 💜💜💜

Session #16 (and it's been a few days)

Tying, leading outside for graze time , picking up ALL FOUR FEET and picking out 3, grooming and handling from head to hoof

I don't think she was enthusiastic about me taking pictures today.....

ZIPPORAH loaded up last night with unrealistic ease to move to the corrals for the weaning process. She has been very vocal looking for baby(although baby didn't even seem to notice!!) but otherwise adjusting well🤍
