Our Puppy Socialization Class is held every Saturday morning at 10am. Not only is it the most important class your puppy can/should take but it is also a helpful benefit for you! Everyone tells me their puppy goes home and sleeps for hours while they get to take care of errands!!
Puppy Socialization Class is for puppies age 8 to 22/24 weeks of age and is all about confidence building; learning that being touched all over a puppy's body can be a great experience (i.e., handling skills); starting to learn basic manners (sit, down, and come); learning bite inhibition (i.e., don't bite so hard when playing with other puppies or they may not want to play with you); socialization with other puppies, people, places, & novel items; and of course learning social skills through puppy play.

Thank you to everyone who attended our 2nd annual Christmas Canine Escape Room! We had 33 dogs and their "parents" attend this year! It was so much fun watching the dogs enjoy working the puzzles. Clues were hidden in the puzzles to help their parents figure out the code so they could escape to find Mrs. Claus' shopping bag!! A special surprise was located in the shopping bag.
A big shout out to Elves Gee, Marce, Vicki and Cammy for helping during the event. We couldn't have done it without them!

Puppy Socialization With Children
It's important for puppies to be socialized with different people. We love it when children attend our Puppy Socialization Classes!
Puppy Socialization Classes are the Most important class for dogs. Many people bring home a new puppy over the holidays. Puppy classes will begin to get filled up fast. Register you and your puppy for our socialization classes to learn about bite inhibition, handling skills, sit, down and come, and proper puppy play.

Fun was had by all after Basic Manners Class last night!!
It is always fun to have a group of dogs in class who get along so well that we can have a play session afterwards to reward all of their hard work (but fun of course!) during class.

Frankie is gaining confidence and learning there are different textures other than grass, concrete, carpet, and vinyl/hardwood flooring to walk on in our confidence building obstacle course. Just one of the many things we teach in Social Tailwaggers, LLC Puppy Socialization Classes.
Tonight was Week 1 of our It's Fun To Sniff Class. We have a great group of dogs (and people!) who all enjoyed each other's company while having fun learning how to play the "Find It" game. Here is Cordi doing the obstacle course for the first time. Each week we will add more and more obstacles. Next week we will start teaching the dogs to find keys and then we will work on finding a scent.
