Kyo is a precious 11 year old fat kitty cat, named after the Fruits Basket anime character. Kyo has weighed up to 23 lbs despite being only fed diet food.

Kyo is a big orange tabby adopted at the Broward county Humane society in 2013 by his owner who was studying in college at the time- his little black cat sister Rin was later adopted in 2016, and they love eachother very much! Kyo's owner is a fan of 'Fruits Basket' thus she named him from one of her favorite anime characters. (Rin is named from an anime as well, but she's named from Blue Exorcist

.) Fortunately, he's been able to lose some weight recently from a change to wet food diet and is currently sitting at around 18 lbs. This wonderfully adorable cat is such a big cuddle bear and a registered ESA. We all love our Kyo-kyo.

It is with a very sad and heavy heart that I announce the passing of my precious wonderful kitty Kyo - He died in my arms this morning from heart complications. This cat was there for me for 11 wonderful years- in which so much has happened. I will never forget how he was always there for me and he always knew when I was sad. I will miss you so much my 'Kyo Kyo' baby boy. 😢
