Hi everyone! Our little pitter Pat had a vet appointment this morning after we noticed he had a pouty fat lip a week or so ago. We had hoped it was just a bug bite, but Dr. Robyn said she’s pretty concerned it’s “something scary,” and that oral cancer is not terribly uncommon. Removing the spot totally wouldn’t allow him to close his mouth properly if it is. For now, she’s starting conservative and in the chance that it’s just an infection, we’re trying an antibiotic. If there’s no change in 7-10 days, we’ll put him under for a biopsy and go from there. Our goal is just to keep him happy and pain free which he is currently, so we’ll pray for the best and take it one day at a time! 🐶♥️

Picked up some dog popsicles (“pooch pops”) from the pet store the other day! Here’s Patrick enjoying a bacon flavored pop on our VERY hot Michigan day we’re having today! 🐶🥓♥️

This represents their relationship very very well 😂

Patrick and Barley enjoyed some Friday night enrichment with the dog puzzle we have! I put a couple little pieces of food in each and it kept them busy for awhile. Patrick did awesome, Barley literally ignored the food and stole the little plastic bones instead 😂 🐶 🐶🦴 ♥️ (Barley’s video in the comments!)

It’s impressive to see how far Forrest had actually come! We never saw running and jumping as a goal, but Forrest was determined to enjoy every bit of life he had! See the before video in the comments.
