My story

I was rescued from years of living on the streets of St. Louis - only to be put in a tiny cage with a whole bunch of other unhappy creatures. I heard they were going to “put me down” the next day, when some different humans took me to a home. But this home was full of several other cats who hated having to share their space with me, and the humans kicked me out. I was passed from home to home, but nobody seemed to want to keep me.

Finally, I met the Best Human. The instant I saw her, I started purring, and didn’t stop for the entire 30-minute drive to her home. Sometimes she doesn’t feed me on time, and she won’t even share her own dinner with me, but she really is great. I now get to watch the birds from my California home! And I don’t take a single day for granted - I still purr my human to sleep every night, after almost 5 years.
