Life is sad. Mama says I have to revisit my dosage of Apoquel cos I’ve reverted back to being an itchy boy. It’s nowhere as bad as before, but she says I can’t chew on my paw paw. But mama… it’s itchy….

I seldom bring the girls to ECP for walkies , but I decided to bring them for the SSC Helloween Walkabout BBQ since I had no class on today!

It was lovely just being with the girls and they were happy to get BBQ food too! Some days I wish I only had easy dogs like Terry… but the girls… gosh, I love them both so so much. Life has been more challenging with them around (& still is), but I wouldn’t change a single thing. Back then when I was -this- close to returning Z during the homestay (she was a terror! So many behavioral issues), I held her tightly and just cried - I knew I couldn’t do it cos I had already fallen in love with her. 8 years on… I still love her so so much.

And sweet, sweet Coco. If she trusts you, you have the best and sweetest and most loyal dog in the world. She was an unplanned addition (as was Z), but I’m so thankful for her presence in my life.

Thank you girls for choosing me to be your mama! I fall short a lot too since I have to divide my attention 6 ways, but I hope you know how much you both mean to me. I am so glad you are mine! ❤️

13 Oct 2023: Reverie, bro Ozzie and sister KC all turned 4 today! How time flies… I first met all of them when they was 2 months old, and got Rev when he was 3 months old…They have all grown up to be fine adults!

May you always be a healthy, playful, greedy and happy boy!! I love you so so so much Revvy. My first sheltie, and always my best one ❤️Please listen more to mama during agility and stop arguing with me in the ring though!! Pawmise ok! ❤️🙏🏼

It was a Sunday Funday with ! It was so good to resume our WTF (“walk to food”) Sundays! I do enjoy our nice urban walkies too; it balances what I do for hash with the girls :) Good company as always!

It especially makes me happy to be able to include Ruffy in more things, since he is already 13. To see all of their unbridled joyful faces mean the world to me ❤️ Phanta also got several treats and pats from some random folk, and I know we made one RWS worker’s morning a lot better (he has a lab at home which he misses very much)!

Z usually follows me quite closely while on hash. Today I climbed over a tree trunk , but she tried to go under. I thought she got stuck in the vines or sth— so I pulled her out when I first looked in the little hole she made for herself. Pulled her over the tree trunk and assumed she would follow…only to see her disappear under the trunk again!! And out of sight this time. I couldn’t see her or bend too low because I had Ruffy on my back … so I tried calling her to no avail. I checked her live location - she was literally next to me and the trunk …

Passed Ruffy to Svetlana for a sec, bent down and lifted the foliage to reveal a little Zora just hiding from the midday sun ☀️😅

She looked so cute and contented just sitting there that I didn’t have the heart to scold her for not coming out and to me. This face is one of the reasons why we do what we do ❤️🥰
