There will be 3 trainers on hand to help owners learn effective techniques to manage and support their dog’s behavior.
Booking is essential. £10 per dog and handler, hot chocolate drinks, treat bag courtesy of Top Dog Treat Box Co. are provided, the route is approximately 5-6 miles over easy ground on a flat surface (no hills or stiles).

Taking leadership with a reactive dog is essential to creating a sense of safety, trust, and stability. Dogs often become reactive when they feel uncertain or believe they must take control of a situation themselves.
Imagine having a really s**t manager at work, they don’t help or support you so by providing calm, consistent leadership to your dog we show them that we are in charge and that they don’t need to make those stressful decisions. Setting clear and fair boundaries helps the dog understand what is expected, which in turn reduces anxiety and confusion. When boundaries are consistently reinforced through appropriate consequences the dog begins to associate their choices with outcomes. These repercussions aren’t about punishment; they are about communication. They help the dog learn which behaviours bring positive results and which do not. This leadership fosters respect and allows the dog to feel secure enough to relax, trust, and thrive. Step up and show your dog that YOU are the best manager!

Moose 🐾💙After a 7 day residential stay, Moose is off home after learning lots of new things, desensitising to heavy traffic and loud noises, working with lots of other dogs & people, conquering his fear of going over the agility equipment, working around lots of environmental things to increase his confidence and make him a much happier and balanced boy. Teaching a dog to be more confident is way more difficult as you have to ADD a behaviour which wasn’t already there and it’s a much slower process. Reining in a bolshy or cocky dog means the confidence is already there, we just need to adjust and moderate the behaviour. Be happy Moose 🫶🏼🐾💙
