Black Is the New Cat Theo and Xan became buddies as kittens at Kitten Rescue Los Angeles. Now they’re forever bros. The gingers were all adopted right away. Theo was there for months.

Xan was pulled from a shelter when he was teeny tiny, scruffy, and all alone. He was placed in the kitten room at Kitten Rescue sanctuary (viewable on explore.org). The poor guy lived there with other litters of kittens that he watched come and go as they got adopted. Theo and his four ginger tabby brothers were bottle-fed babies until they were old enough to enter the kitten room. Fortunately, Xa

n and Theo bonded in the kitten room over a shared love of wrestling, and they became best friends. Finally adopted at 6 and 5 months old in September 2014, the buddies will get to live together forever! Adopt a black cat (or two!)! They often get passed over when other kitties are available, but they make great pets (and their fur won't show when they rub against your black pants!).
