I had always noticed a change with my boys over the years but figured it was a commonly known occurrence. Just like how dogs and cats can pick up on it.

For the record I have had greens and a rhino and all were males. My first green would absolutely get territorial over me. He slapped a few people that tried to place a gentle hand on me 😂 ahhh I miss that sassy ass lizard 🤣

He has sat bedside to my daughter for a few months now, so he has learned her routine. So when she stayed home and was in bed for almost an entire week - he started watching her more closely. Today was the firat day in 6 days my daughter wasn’t laying in bed with 100+ fever, after we had a bath and she was laying down for bed it became quite apparent that this 18yr old gecko was very happy to see his girl had returned.
