Very sad news to learn JoJo passed away yesterday. He was the first client of Welwyn Walks over 8 years ago.
We had many adventures over the years and in his younger years he sometimes used to get me in trouble!

One memorable time in december swimming out into the middle of a lake at Panshanger Park after a duck, so far I thought I would have to strip off and retrieve him!

He will be greatly missed and I'm pleased he was still with us this week!

Hi everyone it's Amy here, so after 7 years of working for Kieran at Welwyn Walks I made the tough decision to hand my notice in and continue on in my own dog training business full time. Today was my last day walking!!!

I just wanted to take the time to say that I have loved walking all of your dogs (past & present). It has been my absolute pleasure to be a part of their lives just as much as they are a part of mine! ❤️

It has been a tough week of many farewells, but I hope you all will follow my dog training journey and come and see me at local dog festivals coming up and keep in touch. 🥰 You can keep up to date with all my new business adventures here 👉 Amy's Tails of Dog Training

I tried to take selfies with as many of the dogs as I could, unfortunately I did miss a few! But I hope you enjoy the ones I did manage to get (there were many bloopers.... Including being floored by Sybil the st. Bernard and then her laying on top of me 🙈🤣) and many kisses and cuddles had. 😘

I have too many fond memories of each and every dog that has been with Welwyn Walks all these years, memories I will treasure forever 🐕🐾 ❤️

Only 3 spaces left for our next puppy course starting on the 12th November! This is a 6 week course, Saturdays at 8:15am - 9:15am.

The course includes all basic puppy training, socialisation, handling skills, husbandry and confidence building.

Blue is the biggest dog we walk, so naturally Coco decided he'd be a great playmate 🤣 what he wasn't expecting was not being able to keep up with Blue and his long legs 💙 so cute!
Blue also has no spatial awareness and nearly ran over Barney 🙈 not to mention nearly taking Amy out, the dangers of the job! 😅
*no dogs were harmed during this play* 🐕🐾🙈

Don't forget this Bank holiday Monday, 29th August Burnham green festival is on 2pm- 5pm! It's free to come along, and there's something for all the family including our four legged friends 🐕🐾 there's a fun dog show, aswell as other doggy stalls, including our very own Amy with her training business Amy's Tails of Dog Training .
on her stall will be-
*Have a go scent work
*Group class enrolment starting in October
*Guess how many treats in the jar and win the jar of treats.
*Pin the tail on the puppy game (win a prize)
*Doggy balloons for the kids to buy.

Burnham green festival is back with the added extra of a fun dog show 😍

Amy's Tails of Dog Training will be there with her stall including:
-Guess how many treats in the jar 🦴❓
-Pin the tail on the puppy 🐕
-Have a go scent work with your dog 🐶
-Enrolment of puppy (upto 6 months) and adolescent (6months - 18months) classes and also beginners scent classes, starting in October.
