is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization providing adoption, re-training, and re-homing or retirement services for former thoroughbred racehorses (OTTB's) so that they might enjoy a second lease on life after their racing careers have ended. Southeast Equine Rescue was founded in 2015 to offer retired racehorses a safe, loving sanctuary, and a chance at a happy, healthy life through adop

tion and re-training followed by placement in caring homes or retirement. Southeast Equine Rescue provides a safe-haven for our adopted horses allowing them to live in a loving, nurturing environment on our farm or matching them with qualified individuals who are looking for a horse to love. Our focus is on adoption first, followed by re-training and re-homing, believing that each horse deserves to have an individual home and purpose. is located in beautiful Auburn, Alabama.
